13/08/2026: Shameful! Two paninis for 9 euros, practically empty and less than 20 centimeters long. I'll never go back to this chain, which is located at the Carrefour Étoile in Nîmes.

25/08/2026: In the heart of Nîmes, the Bistrot de l'Horloge enjoys an exceptional location on the beautiful Place de l'Horloge. The setting is pleasant, with misting in the summer and heating in the winter. Occasionally, a musician or a barrel organ player sets up nearby. This establishment is a must-visit in all seasons.

23/08/2026: Tourist trap. Slow. Unpleasant waiter. They brought us things we hadn't ordered. When we told the waiter it wasn't what we'd ordered, he didn't care, left it on the table anyway, and charged us for it. A real shame. It ruined our day.

15/08/2026: As a restaurant professional, I am very dissatisfied with the behavior of the owner of this bakery. While the baker is very pleasant and friendly, the owner clearly doesn't want to work, wastes everyone's time, and is undeniably hindering his own business. He talks a lot but gets nothing done and prevents everyone from working properly. It's no wonder I'm reading the comments on this site. Dear sir, I think it's time to call it quits!

25/08/2026: A disaster. It took 30 minutes to prepare an order, and it was done wrong. I ordered the burger without one ingredient... and to get it the way I ordered it, I had to explain that I couldn't eat it?! Can't they just admit they made it wrong and give it to me as I ordered it? That's what customization is for. A disgrace.

25/08/2026: It took 24 minutes to place my order and they did it wrong. And then they gave me the runaround trying to fix it, even though the receipt clearly stated what they were supposed to do.

08/09/2026: I'm only giving it one star because of the location in front of the arena. Otherwise, the service was completely lacking. In the middle of summer, you have to go to the bar to get your coffee, even though the terrace is absolutely empty. And on top of that, the waiters are on their phones... go figure. When you go to get your coffee, it's served in cardboard cups... I've never seen anything like it. Anyway, I went back this weekend because I saw that it wasn't very busy and that there was a waiter working. A disaster! The waiter served my double espresso and half of it was spilled. ... Normally, I wouldn't have said anything because these things happen, but the coffee was cold, and at €4.20, it's outrageous... cold, half of it spilled, and it costs an arm and a leg... The waiters were not at all friendly. Not at all welcoming. A few years ago I used to come to this café all the time, but it's changed so much... I'm very disappointed. I understand the negative reviews; if it continues like this, it's doomed to close. What a shame. In any case, I won't be going back.

01/09/2026: Stopped by for a drink at lunchtime during the week. The service was quick and attentive. Prices were a bit high, but understandable given the prime location opposite the arena.

13/09/2026: We ate with the children this Sunday afternoon. The service was very unpleasant; many items were missing from our trays. The staff were irritable, almost as if we were bothering them, even though there was no one else there. Everything was dirty, not to mention the drinks, which instead of Coke were tap water.

31/08/2026: How ironic! The toilets were filthy, extremely dirty on both sides with slippery floors, the bins were overflowing, and the tables were dirty and sticky. I complained, and it was the person preparing the drive-thru order who came to my rescue. In short, thanks but no thanks.

09/05/2026: My friend and I were very disappointed. We ordered mojitos, but there was no rum flavor and just a lot of crushed ice, so we were drinking more water than anything else. In the past, it was very good. At €10, the mojito was unacceptable. The fries were dry, and there was a lack of staff. A disappointing experience.
