A very warm welcome despite the crowds, the heat, and David not being at 100%! A deliberately limited menu featuring fresh ingredients; we opted for the sole/salmon duo and the chicken in wine sauce—no regrets, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Just a little anecdote to show you that there are good people out there, and the people at Le Gavroche are among them.
My mother is terminally ill and sedated, but when I arrived at lunchtime, she opened her eyes and said, "A sip of wine before I die..." Of course, they don't have that in the hospital.
She's not an alcoholic at all, but she's always enjoyed the finer things in life. I asked the person at Le Gavroche if they could give me a tiny bottle, and they did.
My mother took a sip, and then she fell peacefully asleep. I won't forget you. Thank you so much.

Friendly and quick service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Le Gavroche is an excellent restaurant. The only slight drawback is the dark and somewhat dated decor. We will gladly return.
