11/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in the region! Bistrot Chez Louis offers a deliberately limited menu, but one that's varied enough to satisfy all tastes.
The service is quick, attentive, and truly delightful. I highly recommend the Charolais steak tartare, Thai-style, an original and delicious twist that's an absolute must-try.
The establishment also boasts a lovely terrace and a remarkable interior, charmingly decorated with beautiful antique pieces. An ideal spot to spend a wonderful time in a warm and authentic setting.

03/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and had to come back several times. Partly because of the cakes.
They also offer vegetarian options, which seems unusual in France – and we enjoy vegetarian food. The small but excellent menu changes every Thursday.
I just read a few reviews... some people wrote that you feel as welcome as if you were visiting good friends. That's pretty much how it was for us too: a surprisingly nice place with friendly and welcoming staff. And the food was good, too. Mon Dieu!

19/09/2026: Room 1 upstairs: a mixed experience.
Access is via a rather narrow staircase, which can be surprising with large luggage.
The shower is very compact and somewhat cramped.
There is no air conditioning, which made the room hot all night.
During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, with a noticeable, but likely temporary, smell of paint.

05/10/2026: I called today, October 5th, around 5:30 PM to order pizzas. I received a very poor reception when I asked for a Teixana pizza. I was rudely told, "This isn't Ange's!" Yes, I know who I'm calling again! And your website clearly states that you offer Teixana pizzas! In the end, Marie Blachère Latresne doesn't offer any pork-free pizzas except for the cheese one! That's a bit much, isn't it?

Pizza La Seleyre

15/11/2025: Pizza La Seleyre is a classic takeaway pizzeria with a good variety of thin-crust pizzas. However, since COVID and especially the opening of Pizzeria Le Bocce in the town center, the pizzas have declined. Initially, they were generously topped with fresh (and homemade, if I remember correctly) tomato sauce, but now they're a bit dry and cardboard-like. Another thing that puzzles me, compared to other pizzerias in the area, is the feeling of not being full after eating a whole pizza. It gives me the same feeling as sushi with MSG, which prevents satiety. I also saw a "For Sale" sign that has since been removed, so we'll see...
Update: The pizzas reflect the same issues as the response from the long-standing faulty front door and the awkward remarks about using restaurant vouchers in supermarkets...
