The welcome was perfect, as was the setting, which remains completely unsuspecting from the street.
The food was fresh and of excellent quality, enhanced by the chef and his entire team.
We would be delighted to return, perhaps in the evening, to explore the menu more thoroughly.
Thank you for this wonderful experience.
20/05/2026: An exceptional starter: beef tartare with horseradish mayonnaise and a Gillardeau oyster. A real treat. And everything else was just as good and meticulously prepared. The dishes, the desserts, the service—everything was impeccable.

16/05/2026: Just passing through. We were looking for somewhere to eat. We ordered the set menu. Without a reservation, we had a good meal; the food was homemade and fresh. Good value for money.

Well located in the heart of Le Barp, with parking opposite, near Saint-Jacques Church.
Very friendly Portuguese owner.
Café also offers horse racing betting.
Good stop on the old National Route 10.

26/06/2024: Restaurant a éviter, car serveuse ne connaisse pas les cuissons et n'accepte pas la moindre remarque. Plat magret de canard demandé 2 fois car cuisson pas bonnes. Je demande un Chablis, plus de Chablis alors que non rayé sur la carte.
Le même Champagne inscrit 2 fois a la carte, une fois a 50€ et une deuxième a 59,90€ et nous le fais payer a 59,90€ malgré notre interpellation, et un aveu de la serveuse indiquant que le patron reconnaît avoir fait une erreur. Je trouve ça inadmissible.
21/06/2024: Restaurant très sympa, on y mange très bien, bon rapport qualité/prix dans un endroit assez cosy et calme; un très bon accueil, c'est bien simple j'y mange avec mes enfants ou des amis quasiment toutes les semaines !!
