09/03/2026: Discovered this restaurant. Pleasant setting, but it could use a touch of color (for example, a bouquet of peonies) to brighten the room. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Reasonable prices. Worth discovering.

29/11/2025: A very warm welcome with fast and friendly service. The menu is varied, including several daily specials. The dishes are very good and generously portioned, with beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is pleasant and contemporary, and the terrace is beautiful.
Very good value for money, highly recommended.

21/02/2026: I absolutely love going to the vineyards to enjoy wines made directly by the producers, a far cry from the gargantuan offerings of the various wine fairs… There, you make discoveries that are sometimes incredible, but always surprising!
Plus, in the vineyards, you often see cows, but at Marwen's, you'll also find goats, of course 😍
An exceptional cheesemaker who organizes convivial evenings to share his passions. Go check it out!
Our last recent evening at Marwen's was raclette. Almost over, as the season dictates. Hurry!
And the recipe for potatoes with herbs, paprika, and chili: surprising at first with raclette, even though we're specialists (right, ham? 😉), but so delicious that I'm sharing it with friends tonight for the last raclette of the year.

16/01/2026: We've been ordering from this pizzeria for four years now and we've never been disappointed. The ingredients are top-notch, the pizzas are generous, and so is the staff!
The team is cool, laid-back, always pleasant, and genuinely kind. You can tell they have a real knack for business, but more importantly, it's sincere and authentic.
We enjoy our meal every time, and loyalty is rewarded, which is really nice.
In short, what more could you ask for? I highly recommend it! 🍕✨

24/02/2026: We used to come very regularly with our two children, but last time we were told it was no longer possible to order three pizzas for four people. My daughter is too old for a children's menu but much too young for an adult pizza. We expressed our surprise, but no one took it into account. So we ended up ordering small pizzas for only €2 less (!) and even then it was still too much for her. It seems that at Mongelli's, an extra pizza is worth more than customer loyalty... what a shame, we won't be coming back.

22/03/2026: I'll say it again: the people who work at McDonald's don't want to be there, and the customers suffer. I went to this McDonald's near my house. A 15-minute wait for two Happy Meals ordered before noon. There were only three of us in the restaurant. I've seen faster fast food places, but anyway, moving on. Back to the employees. A three-year-old girl accidentally spilled her father's drink just as two McDonald's servers were taking out the trays. The servers' reaction: they looked at each other, turned their backs, and quickly went back behind their counter. No cleaning, no alternative drinks offered to the family, NOTHING! The service is simply deplorable! What are your hiring criteria? What are the instructions given to staff in these situations? Nothing? The family moved to another table, but the drink was left there, dripping onto the table and the floor. No one there could have cared less. Bravo! All prices are increasing, but for the rest, it's a freefall!
20/03/2026: Relatively satisfied, but often problems with Click & Collect. Luckily the staff are friendly enough to compensate for this issue.

05/03/2026: The welcome was very warm, but the food was terrible. I ordered Peking duck, but it wasn't lacquered; it was boiled. The sauce was soy sauce, which was far too salty, something I'm used to with this dish. I've never seen anything like it; I'm disappointed.

It's advisable to make a reservation as the dining room is small.
Takeout is also available.

February 7, 2026: I'm changing my review; excellent bread and very good pastries, but the cakes and desserts are more than disappointing and should be avoided; the éclair "pastry cream" was made with powder.
15/02/2026: At over €4 for a pastry, I expected quality, but I was completely disappointed. The rum baba was inedible with its cream on top (I wouldn't even know how to describe the awful taste). The chocolate trio was the same; it didn't taste like chocolate at all. I had been there several months ago, but I wanted to give it another try, but now it's over. I strongly advise against going to this bakery.

22/08/2024: Very disappointed with this second dinner, 2 years later.
Aside from the superb setting and the rather friendly staff, the dishes were more than disappointing…
A non-existent appetizer which boils down to 2 small canapes served before the ordered aperitif.
A savory starter in which a few mussels are bathed in a sauce, a very floury lobster combined with strawberries which are too present, a meat and its accompaniment both far too dry despite the juice.
An addition of more than 300€ to 2 for an intermediate menu, we are close to the prices of starred restaurants but very far in terms of quality of the dishes. Really disappointed..
I am modifying this opinion to follow up on your response: I expressed the concern about the lobster to your server, a small dish was also kindly offered to us in relation to that; afterwards I didn't want to add any more when I made the note, it stuck a little in my throat and the person I had in front of me had nothing to do with it.
I’m not in the habit of “breaking” for free. We are used to going to gourmet restaurants and my husband is of the same opinion as me regarding our dinner, so I had to tell you.
22/08/2024: Perfect quality, both in terms of the menus allowing us to rediscover tastes sometimes forgotten over time, and in terms of the caring, professional employees.

25/09/2024: Pleasant and friendly place before or after a movie. Friendly and smiling team. On the other hand, I find that the price of the dishes is too high for such simple but still good cuisine. I'll just have a drink next time.
14/09/2024: One of the few places of life still alive in the Toulouse suburbs, every lunchtime and evening, with cinema as a bonus! Even if the prices have increased and the quality and quantity have significantly decreased, it remains a peaceful place to eat, chat freely, meet committed people among bobos of all ages (and it's true that the mix is quite funny Sometimes...). It is also a very open place of cultural exchange. The setting, on the banks of the Touch and on the edge of the town hall, anchors this magical place to the history of what was a small village 30 years ago.
