31/01/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Cordon. Warm welcome, impeccable service, perfect cuisine, and spotless hygiene. A special mention to our young waiter, shy at the beginning of his shift but more at ease towards the end. Keep at it; you have the talent to succeed in this field.

24/01/2026: Excellent restaurant right in the heart of Cordon. The welcome was incredibly warm, for me, my partner, and our dog, who was treated exceptionally well. The portions are very generous and, above all, delicious. The restaurant's interior is lovely, inviting, and well-maintained. We've dined there both for lunch and dinner, and each time the experience has been flawless. Special mention goes to the raclette, a true Savoyard dish made with local cheese from the village, making all the difference. The desserts are very tasty and indulgent, and all the dishes are beautifully presented. The tiramisu deserves special mention: as a big fan, I can say it's rare to find one this good in a restaurant. I highly recommend it, and we'll gladly return if we're ever in the area again.

18/01/2026: Ideally located. Extraordinary view of Mont Blanc. Very cozy mountain decor. Pleasant and attentive staff. Impeccable service. Small village with many chalets very typical of the region. Deserves a ranking of the most beautiful view in... (France?)

08/11/2025: It’s all about the simple things in life: the short hike up the mountain, the beautiful setting and sweeping views, our dog running across the hills with the kids, and the crunch of warm potato beignets with eggs and Beaufort.

L'Alpage de l'Herney is the ideal place for an authentic mountain break: breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, simple and delicious dishes, and a warm, family atmosphere. The short climb (about 30 minutes) is perfect for working up an appetite, but you can also book a buggy (€5/person) for an effortless ride. The extra that makes all the difference: a swing and a slide behind the chalet, perfect for keeping the kids entertained while parents enjoy the view.

28/01/2026: A lovely spot with a very warm welcome, nestled between the ski slopes. The location and view are magnificent. The food is good. I had a generous portion of tartiflette with delicious charcuterie. The blueberry tartlet was decent. I recommend it.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2026 meal booked was top-notch; the meal from appetizers to dessert was perfect. We had a wonderful evening!
