21/08/2024: The view was spectacular. The vegetarian focused food wasn't necessarily something I would choose again, but it WAS delicious and the woman who waited on us was super friendly. I'd go back, even if it was just for a drink, just to be able to admire that mountains again.

28/08/2024: Very nice restaurant, very quiet in an easily accessible location near Lake Passy. Very beautiful terrace, renovated restaurant, small private lake. Very good food, (lamb shank) I went there last week, so I'm going back this week to taste another dish for the summer. The menu makes you want, various completely different choices. The setting, the tranquility is really worth it and the boss is friendly. Try! This restaurant needs to be known (but not too much! Selfishly 😉)

01/09/2024: A little break after a big bike ride...sun, beautiful terrace with an incredible view. A well-deserved break. 2 daily menu, 2 beers, 48€, very good. eat!
..Friendly welcome with a smile. To do again.

31/08/2024: Very good meal and efficient service despite the high attendance of the establishment. I really enjoyed the perch fillets served with a delicious homemade ratatouille. Very good burger too. And I recommend the tiramisu to finish. The prices are fair considering the quality.
29/08/2024: This place is downright terrible! It seems like they hate tourists. When we accidentally took a tray, they simply gave us the middle finger! As if that wasn't bad enough, after we got a few drinks, they refused to serve us more after only 2 drinks. Ridiculous!!! The service is below par and the attitude of the staff is just unacceptable. Definitely a place to avoid if you want to have a pleasant experience.

03/09/2024: Wanting a refreshment, while waiting for the end of the paragliding, we say to ourselves that we are going to have a drink... I order a squeezed lemon at the first sip, we know that it is Pulco lemon.... I go and ask at the bar if it's a squeezed lemon, they tell me yes....I ask how many lemons were squeezed, they tell me "half a lemon and in any case if we had squeezed five you would we wouldn't have felt the difference....
Pulco fan at €4.20, go there with your eyes closed, otherwise move on, but really move on.
23/08/2024: One of my favorite places to eat in the summer, incredible view, dishes as good as ever. And above all, pleasant service.

12/08/2024: Great views, very dated facilities. Not at all dog friendly, dogs not allowed in bar terrace despite the owners having their own dogs there. Very noisy and quite smelly at times. Would not recommend to anyone with dogs, lake adjacent was ok for dogs early morning or late in the afternoon. Railway is a 30 mins walk but worth it to get into chamonix

30/08/2024: Nice restaurant, superb view, only restaurant of the 3 open in the evening, friendly welcome, decent service.
As for the food, it's good, without being amazing; it does the job. We feel that not everything is “homemade” with fresh products. Frozen fries (while you can easily buy fresh fries of the day from wholesalers), rubbery crepes (ready-made crepe batter), nuggets from the really low-end children's menu...
Expensive for what it is, but nice time with beautiful view, and nice and competent waitresses: only 2 and the terrace was full!

18/09/2024: Pour un repas de 7 personnes, nous avons été pris en charge par un serveur très efficace et avec un humour 3eme degré fort sympathique. Nous avons eu tout le temps de prendre l'apéritif avant le service des entrées (notamment la terrine du patron façon "Servez-vous"). Un tout petit peu d'attente pour le plat, mais chacun ayant choisi un plat différent (ou quasiment), cela laisse entendre que la cuisine est préparée à la demande :cuisses de grenouille excellentes, hamburgers maison fabuleux... Les très bons desserts sont à un prix très abordable. Bref, tout était parfait, même la visite du chef après le repas. Même ma belle-mère à adoré, c'est vous dire. À refaire.

01/10/2024: I arrived at this shelter exhausted from three days of bad weather and muscles screaming at me to return home quickly.
Without the words of encouragement from guide Guillaume and the frank and mountain atmosphere of the refuge, I would certainly not have exceeded my strength to discover others or pass the Salenton pass.
Certainly the cuisine is not great luxury and the breakfast is a little austere considering the effort required by the hiker but for me, it is a detail.

22/09/2024: The refuge is well located, with a nice view.
On the other hand, in terms of catering, it's a disaster: a fondue that looks more like a pot of water than a real fondue. Red wine from the pitcher which was undrinkable just good for unblocking toilets. Dessert, a totally chemical flan.
The morning buffet is no better than a budget hotel.
The €12 picnic is also a little excessive with a mini ham sandwich, a small packet of chips, a compote drink, a cake, an apple and a chocolate bar. A bit tight for an adult going on a day hike...
Very disappointed with this refuge where we do not find the mountain spirit that we can find in other refuges.

07/09/2024: Repas excellent, qualité et quantité au rendez-vous et personnel sympathique, cuisine ouverte, boissons un peu chères mais bonne adresse
25/08/2024: Avons apprécié la distribution des trois chambres en accord avec notre réservation. Nous étions deux couples et trois enfants. Hôtel moderne, sobre avec un personnel jeune , attentionné, y compris au restaurant.
Hôtel restaurant piscine offrant un bon rapport qualité /prix.
Il manque peut-être la climatisation pour les nuits chaudes du mois Août.
