Refuge Moede Anterne sur Passy

To everyone reading these negative reviews, a short reminder that this is a remote mountain hut at about 1900 meters, not a boutique hotel, a restaurant or a wine bar. A bit of grounding and respect for being able to sleep under a roof during a trek is not misplaced. The environment and trails around this place are breathtaking. Check in went smoothly, and the girl behind the counter was very friendly. Drop of luggage and shoes in the garage, but you get a plastic box you can put your belongings in and take upstairs to your room. Drinks are same quality and price compared to other refuges and dinner and breakfast are comparable to other refuges on the gr5 route. Due to the drought there was no access to showers, but water that is safe to drink is available and you can wash yourself at a bathroom sink. Agreeable that 12 euro for the lunchbox is a bit much.
