30/08/2026: We've eaten at this restaurant several times and have recommended it to our friends and family. Each time, it's the same: an extraordinary culinary surprise. The chef primarily uses local produce, and this connection to the region is evident in every dish. The wine list is always excellent, with wonderful discoveries of regional appellations, always perfectly chosen and well-executed. It's this kind of cuisine that makes you want to come back again and again. A must-try.

29/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6 stars… if I could have. To fully recount our experience at Maison Soubeiran, we must start at the beginning. A wooden door. Simple. Intriguing, to say the least. What will I discover behind it? We pass through it, and a corridor invites us to take a few steps forward. This small, dimly lit vestibule is enough to create a transition. Then, almost suddenly, we step into another world. It's August. The temperature in the streets of Lunel is 36 degrees Celsius. And here we are in a patio covered by a magnificent ivy canopy that seems to instantly lower the temperature. The atmosphere is cool, calm, and soothing. A little oasis. The first person who greets us is smiling, attentive, and incredibly kind. We settle in, and already, we have only one desire: to discover more about this unique place. We were lucky enough to meet the owner. A man of passion. Ask him a few questions and he'll quickly and generously share the story of Maison Soubeiran, this former industrial site transformed into a restaurant. The courtyard is a true haven of peace. The interior is just as enchanting. The decor is sublime, authentic, and exquisitely tasteful, never overdone. And now, the food. Don't bother looking for a menu. Like the place itself, everything here is a secret to be discovered. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, a blind tasting. And at that point, words fail us. A succession of remarkably well-balanced, creative, and delicate dishes, with incredibly precise seasoning. We also chose the wine pairings, which included broths. I highly recommend them. They truly enhance the experience and make it even more surprising. From the first course to the coffee, which was absolutely delicious, we experienced a truly unforgettable family moment. We love unusual places. Places with a soul. Places you talk about long after you've left. Maison Soubeiran is undoubtedly one of them. Thank you to the chef for her committed, creative cuisine, based on natural ingredients, flavor, and local sourcing. Thank you to the owner for his infectious passion. And thank you to the entire team for the remarkable welcome. We were treated like royalty, with such naturalness and generosity. We will treasure this address. For us, it is now an essential destination for food lovers visiting the South of France. 5 stars… and a sixth that Google unfortunately won't let me add. ++ V

24/08/2026: We went for dinner on our way down from France to Spain. The place was clean and pleasant, and the service was excellent and fast. They gave us advice on portion sizes and dishes. The food was very good and delicious. I'm vegetarian and enjoyed all the options they had. Highly recommended.

19/08/2026: A truly wonderful place in Lunel: Le Palais des Roses! The food is absolutely delicious! The cuisine is delightful, full of flavor, and generous. We enjoyed every bite, from start to finish, as always ☺️ The welcome is always warm and the atmosphere very pleasant. It's a place that's particularly dear to us, so naturally, we love going back and sharing it with our friends and family ❤️ I highly recommend Le Palais des Roses, especially if you love Indian cuisine and delicious dishes! You won't be disappointed 😋✨

11/07/2026: We went for a lunch at the restaurant only, so I can only comment on the food. We were walk-ins. The service was a little slow but adequate. The staff were friendly enough. Thw appetisers were lovely. Very tasty. Things were off to a good start. My husband had the menu of the day which was chicken skewers (which he said lacked salt) and a starter and cheesecake for dessert. He said overall it was nice. I only had a mixed plate of 4 different pieces of fish: one prawn, one cuttlefish, a flat white fish (can't remember the name) and salmon. The salmon was dreadfully undercooked, and so I asked for it to be cooked some more.. The waiter wholeheartedly agreed and apologised. It however returned and was not cooked much more. I said this to the waiter who said that is the way they cook it, to this point. It would then be useful to ask customers how they like their salmon cooked on ordering because I prefer it cooked through but not burned on the outside. I didn't end up eating the salmon, and only half the cuttlefish which was rubbery and lacked any flavour. Anyway, the fish platter was an overall disappointment and the fish in itself didn't have the freshest of tastes if I compare it to other places we've eaten at by the sea. They took the price of the coffee off the bill as a gesture and on driving away we realised they forgot to charge us for the side of chips we ordered (these were nice, large portion). But we decided this would also compensate for paying €35 for a fish platter that wasn't worth it at all and I only ate half of. The other veggies on the plate were nice, grilled courgette and a tomatoe with alioli.. I wish had ordered the lamb, I think it would have been much better. I just made a bad choice. We wouldn't return.

06/07/2026: We stayed there for a weekend for a family reunion. The food was exceptional! Everything was delicious and expertly prepared. The service was top-notch, with great adaptability and patience! The accommodation was very good! Clean room, comfortable bed. The pool is lovely, as is the location. The free, covered private parking is a real plus. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This establishment deserves a 4-star rating; I think it wouldn't take much to achieve it.

10/10/2025: Excellent wood-fired pizzas with generous toppings. The owner and staff are super friendly. I highly recommend it 👍.

08/08/2026: A beautiful little restaurant. Very friendly people and a great atmosphere. The tarte flambée is wonderful. A large selection of good wine and friendly service. Highly recommended!

07/07/2026: We stumbled upon L'Entracte quite by chance with two friends, and we didn't regret it for a single moment. We were welcomed into a peaceful setting by charming people and a fascinating owner. And on top of that, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end. The dishes were beautiful and generous, and at a very reasonable price, I highly recommend L'Entracte and I'll definitely be keeping the address for my future trips.

30/05/2026: Homemade food, but poor value for money. The prices are very high for the portion size and the quality of the ingredients. €28 for six small slices of tuna tataki with a little rice and salad. Honestly, I could have made it at home for much less. While the price of the main course likely includes the starter, the starter is mandatory, so you don't get to choose it and are automatically charged even if you don't want it or don't like it. Furthermore, the quality isn't always there. The smoked salmon pasta (€22, no less) consists of overcooked penne with cream and cooked salmon. In addition, the service is slow, with a long wait between the first and last courses. You have time to finish your meal before your dining companions receive theirs. Furthermore, the drinks menu isn't updated, so you have to order three drinks before they even have one left. Honestly, it's a disappointment for a place we'd been wanting to try for a long time.

07/08/2026: The worst Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten in. It was so dry, it was unbearable. The staff were incredibly unpleasant; I think they should call Philippe Etchebest.
