14/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The Taj Mahal in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois offers delicious Indian cuisine, with flavorful, well-seasoned, and generous dishes. The flavors are authentic and the portions are very reasonable. The staff is also very welcoming, friendly, and professional, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/10/2026: I had the opportunity to eat at this Indian restaurant in October 2026, and it was a real pleasure! The dishes were delicious and flavorful, and the portions were very reasonable! For starters, I had a mixed pakora (vegetable fritters) and paneer pakora (Indian cheese fritters), and for my main course, lamb masala with a side of New Delhi pulao rice and garlic naan. I also ordered a rose lassi (a milk-based drink) and kulfi for dessert. Everything was very good. I just found the paneer pakora a little bland, but the sauces that came with the fritters were a nice accompaniment. It cost me around €50 per person, but I was completely full by the end of the meal, so you can expect to pay closer to €40 if you want to try a bit of everything, and probably less if you go with a group (the dishes are very easy to share!). The wait for dessert was a little long, but the rest of the meal was served quickly. Don't hesitate to ask the server any questions you may have about the dishes!

The seating area was nice and comfortable, the restaurant was quiet, and the service was excellent. — I returned a year later for a second visit. The service had become unbearably slow. Orders arrived incomplete. The portions were very small compared to the price. I will not repeat the experience.

27/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was, brimming with excellent flavors! The ingredients are fresh, the menu is very well-crafted, and the prices are quite reasonable. To top it all off, we received a warm welcome, and we will gladly return!

20/08/2026: Too bad, I preferred the previous owner; the prices were lower. No, the cheese was smaller or thinner, and for €3.70 I think, I got nothing else to take away. A smile at the reception is optional; it's very cold... In short, I won't be going back. I think if they don't address the prices and the coldness of the owner or employees, they won't have as many customers as the previous owner.

25/09/2026: We ordered butter chicken, vegetable biryani, and samosas. The food was delicious, the waitress was lovely, and the view from the outdoor seating area was wonderful. A beautiful experience, and we hope to repeat it! ❤️
