14/04/2026: The service was excellent, the waiter was lovely, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It's the first time in my life I've ever tasted bland chicken curry and butter chicken (the butter chicken was even very sweet, which is unusual for this type of dish). I don't know if the flavors have been adapted to a more "white" clientele or if it's always the same level of spice and heat? This isn't authentic Indian cuisine, and it shows in every bite. There was very little flavor, it wasn't very aromatic, which never happens to me in any Indian restaurant. The cheese naan was "cheese" in name only; it was very stingy with cheese, much to my disappointment. The rice was good, but it wasn't enough to make up for the blandness of the dishes. It's worth noting that in most restaurants, rice is included with the meat dish, but not here; you have to order it as an extra (and therefore increase the bill). I found the bill really expensive for portions that weren't very generous either. In short: the staff is attentive and very friendly, but the bill is steep for bland food... I really wanted to give it a good rating, which is a shame. If you don't like strongly flavored food and often find it "too spicy," you might like this restaurant. But it's not authentic Indian cuisine like I've had elsewhere.

20/01/2026: Nice place with fragrant and flavorful dishes. The spices are well-balanced and you can tell it's not just reheated leftovers. The portions are decent and filling. The service is quite pleasant, the atmosphere is simple but warm. It's not ultra-refined Indian haute cuisine, but for a good, exotic, and satisfying meal, it definitely does the job.

03/05/2026: I travelled from England to Paris and this was one of the best restaurants that I visited whilst here. Dolly was friendly and provided quick service. Her chicken biriyani, chicken tikka, chicken korma, pilau, and green beans was delicious. Above all the cheese chapati was stupendous. We also had the mix fruit crumble which was amazing 🤩 Would highly recommend and will come back soon !!

As for the food, it's a masterful, flawless experience. The dishes are delicious, worthy of a true gourmet restaurant, yet remarkably generous. You can taste the passion and expertise in every flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's a must-try that deserves to be better known!

16/06/2026: I discovered Ashiana restaurant about twenty years ago and had very fond memories of it. I had the opportunity to return yesterday for dinner, and I was just as delighted! The welcome is warm, the menu is varied, the dishes are luscious and bursting with perfectly balanced flavors, the wine list is appealing and caters to all budgets, and the decor, both traditional and understated, along with the soothing background music, invites you on a delightful culinary journey! Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience we enjoyed sharing, and we hope to return very soon!

12/03/2026: One of the best Indian and Nepali food restaurants in the area. I have stopped trusting other Indian restaurants for quality issues, while this being Nepali, the quality is good and the packaging is sustainable. You won’t feel bloated after eating here, and you won’t have issues like common gravy for all the dishes. Overall loved the food and packaging.

11/06/2026: We came based on the reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. We usually go to the Zamenof Street location where everything is excellent, but it was closed. The cheese naans were dry, and the cheese wasn't runny at all. The rice wasn't good quality, and the saucy dishes were mediocre. We used to go to this restaurant a few years ago and stopped going when we discovered the one on Zamenof Street, and now we understand why. There are much better options elsewhere.

15/05/2026: 5/5, this Indian restaurant may not look like much at first glance, but it actually hides an incredibly warm welcome, a beautifully decorated space, and delicious food. The portions are generous and the dishes are piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
