16/09/2026: We discovered this place by sheer chance and what a wonderful experience it was. The electric boat self ride was amazing. No licenses required, can take 4 pax and its very easy to sail it to the castle and back for an hour, passing through the bridge and castle arches. Strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
15/09/2026: A wonderful experience for the whole family, including our two grandchildren and our puppy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip; the one-hour duration allowed plenty of time to admire the scenery, the banks of the Cher River, and of course, the Château de Chenonceau from every angle. The staff at the port were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

04/06/2026: It's very basic but clean. Tiny bathroom and a few funny smells from time to time.Lots of rules, breakfast has to be ordered the day before.
There is very little else in the village so you need a car to be able to get around and eat out etc.
03/06/2026: The hotel manager gave me every opportunity to get my breakfast to go.
