22/08/2024: Nous sommes venu le 21 août 2024, un très bon accueil, on a pris le plat du jour et une andouillette et en dessert une crêpe et franchement nous ne regrettons pas très bien cuisiner.bravo

08/12/2024: Agréablement surpris, on s’attendait à une brasserie , et on a trouvé un restaurant proposant des plats originaux, raffinés et délicieux, une bonne ambiance chaleureuse, de bon conseil pour les vins. On a passé un super moment que l’on refera !!

17/12/2024: Ce jour 17.12. Personnel agréable et efficace, nous étions 3, nous avons pris ́le menu du jour entrée plat dessert et chacun un verre de blanc Cheverny. Cuisine prétentieuse, et inutilement sophistiquée pour l’entrée et le plat, qualité gustative très moyenne. Nous ne reviendrons pas. Didier

23/09/2024: Nos alojamos como huéspedes en el hotel y disfrutamos de la cena más deliciosa y vino. Llevo viniendo aquí desde 1980 , siempre me encantó y es aún mejor ahora que el hotel ha sido renovado. El personal es excepcionalmente agradable y servicial. Muy recomendable.

20/09/2024: Accueil super sympa ! Propriétaires et serveurs sont prévenants, plein d’humour et à l’écoute de la clientèle dans une ambiance décontractée. Le menu du jour était copieux, très bon et servi sans attente. Nous avons apprécié également le conseil pour le choix du vin.

14/09/2024: Nous y étions mardi dernier pour un déjeuner. Très bon accueil, un menu du jour de qualité, copieux et très bon, dans un cadre sympathique et confortable que je recommande. Très bon rapport qualité prix et un service rapide.

11/09/2024: Go there with your eyes closed. The pasta that we were served on piping hot plates was succulent. Bolognese tagliatelle and prawn pasta accompanied by a very nice red Chinon, followed by a small dessert. We will keep the address on hand. And the cherry on the cake, the welcome is very friendly. Very beautiful and good address at very low prices.

24/08/2024: I only know the restaurant and it is an exceptional experience that I highly recommend. The prices are more than reasonable and the refinement matches the originality.

Yet again we have returned to this superbly located, friendly hotel in Magical Loches, run by a delightful couple ,Sylvie et Stéphane Gage who continue to deliver exceptional service and wonderful traditional food to all their customers .This a one of a kind , family run , classic French Hotel , situated in the heart of the fantastic historic town of Loches , even boasting secure Hotel courtyard parking - esp. good for motorcycles!. Always a Friendly welcome, with comfortable , if somewhat dated rooms, some with A/C, but compensated by meals in the superb dining room or out in the balmy summer evening courtyard. Fabulous , value food, and superb local wine selection . We keep going back- Well worth a trip , or detour en route South, for a quiet relaxing overnight stay situated in the centre of the pedestrianised part of Loches.. You will return to this gem in the heart of France , over and over to epxerince the bustling markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, great individual shopping , and magnificent historical sites , all within walking distance.

20/08/2024: Une salle kitsch à souhait et un accueil agréable. Le service est efficace. Cependant les plats sont gras et manquent de goût et d’assaisonnement. Fade et gras, c'est décevant.

10/08/2024: While passing through the town of Loches, I discovered this bakery by chance. I particularly like walnut breads and this one is worth the detour: an excellent taste, a very crispy crust and above all lots of very good quality nuts! THANKS

04/09/2024: On a rainy Sunday in Loches, we took refuge in this small restaurant for lunch, without reservation, we were lucky because there were many refusals behind us. It's a small restaurant where an anthill atmosphere reigns, with the waitresses zig zag from table to table, the chef observing the room from his open kitchen, like a feeling of being with family. We let ourselves be guided by our desires: pizza and fried foods from the chef. Pure happiness! The taste, the flavors, our taste buds were delighted. A real trip to Italy. I'm not even talking about Tiramisu, I've never had one so good. It is an address that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to travel to Italy without leaving Loches.

25/08/2024: Emménagement sur Loches, arrivée tardive en ville pour dîner, très bon accueil du personnel. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée. Tout était très bon avec un service sympathique et très souriant. Nous reviendrons.
