13/05/2024: Mixed experience... The Auberge de la Gabriere is a very beautiful place. The view from the rooms is magnificent. The area is very quiet. The bedding is pretty good (a bit firm for me) the sheets are clean. We had breakfasts which were very good. Especially teas! A small bottle of water was waiting for us in the room which was appreciated when we were on the road. That was the positive but despite that we won't come back! My husband is disabled. When we booked we asked if the room was accessible and we were told it was ok if he could climb a few steps... What a joke! Too bad I didn't think to take a photo of them! After climbing a super steep staircase with around twenty steps we were surprised to find more steps in the room! 5/6 steps still to go down to access the beds. And go back up to go to my bathroom/toilet which is upstairs! And the WC Still raised! This is clearly false advertising! It's shameful... We struggled for 3 days... Without this, given that the beds, shower, toilet... Were clean, I would not have stopped to focus on the slightly dilapidated elements, the stains on the walls, the hairs in the bathroom drawer... But you will find them in my photos! The large mirror must not have seen a cloth often. Honestly a shame because the setting is magnificent and the service remains correct. In addition, we were poorly received, almost being told that it was our fault with "warning was necessary" even though we had warned! Apart from this lady (the boss?) the staff is pleasant. In short, I couldn't give a bad rating because objectively it's a beautiful, well-kept place. But I couldn't give a good one either after being misled and the fault not being taken! I will not return there with my husband because it is not suitable at all. My parents who were also on the trip, however, will certainly return.

14/03/2024: Very good discovery of this restaurant. Very good cuisine Elaborate map A choice for adults and children, lunch options and takeaway meals. Without booking we went there yesterday, calm atmosphere, very good service and really generous dishes for the price.... We took 2 menus, 1 bottle of wine for the price, go for it. We had to take away Don't hesitate to go there, the exterior is not great but the main thing is in the service, the welcome and the dishes, I recommend it.
