02/09/2024: Good place. Pretty big pizzas. Good flavor and very good. The treatment is very good.

07/07/2024: Ordered the Friture de la mer what I received was clearly reheated from a previous day this included the fries. I would advise people to pass this restaurant by, there are plenty of better choices in the area. This meal was memorable purely because it was one of the worst I have been served for many years.

29/09/2024: We called to ask for information and the woman who took orders in the restaurant hung up on us, she was very unpleasant on the phone, we had the impression that we were pissing her off so lo and behold she hung up on us. So the pizzas are good but the cheese pizza is 13€ and was very small, don't overdo it anyway. So this is the last time they will see our faces. And also if you no longer do delivery, you would have to remove “home delivery” from your storefront, in short, this restaurant is a real disaster.

27/09/2024: I'm not the type to post a comment but here I think we should stop. We ordered 2 pizzas this afternoon. So I've never seen such a thin pizza, €25 to get a maximum of salad with a minimum of other toppings, frankly it's a shame. The pompom we had to pay for the carafe of water! even though we had wine...it's unworthy of the restaurant!

We had lunch on September 20, and we were unpleasantly surprised by several points: Paid bread Inability to have a jug of water (prohibited by law 😉) Very high prices / market Very different from what it was before. Obligation to take one dish per person (prohibited by law 😉) In short, we won't go back there again...

02/09/2024: What a disappointment! We had come to the Massimo bastide several times. We enjoyed the setting and the cuisine. But there... What a waste to have such a pretty restaurant and offer so little... The menu has always been the same for years and the slate always offers the same dishes. The problem is that we see the flagrant decline in the quality and quantities offered. Difficult to maintain a good level. Masking the reduction in portions by adding a salad cut into strips and not seasoned is special. The salad was in our 4 different main courses, no consistency. No plating at €28/30 per dish. Tasteless dishes elsewhere. The accompanying risottos were dry, more like simple rice. The octopus was uninteresting, the fish bland. And what about this salad as a second side dish? Long wait between courses. Desserts also see reductions. The frozen flute was not accompanied by the usual limocello. No digestive offered at our table with the bill like the other times. Savings.. savings.. The staff is not professional staff. We had 3 different people. No hello, no smile. The bottle of wine brought and left on the table "I'll come back and give you a taste", we never saw it again. The cutlery that falls while clearing, the plates literally thrown on the table. We thought we were in a hidden camera... The boss was totally overwhelmed in his own restaurant. A very expensive note for a poor performance. An average of €70 per head. It's absolutely not worth it. The framework is not everything. Move on, the Massimo bastide has lost its charm.

26/08/2024: Delicious pizza made with a lot of cheese and one will leave you more than full. The staff were friendly and it was nice to see them chat with people from the neighbourhood who were passing by.

23/08/2024: Very friendly little restaurant with the oldest oven in Marseille! We have lunch there every time we pass through Marseille. Queen pizza or camembert flambé with pastis. A delight!

24/09/2024: I recommend this hotel, very quiet despite the environment. Staff at the top with their kindness and professionalism. Very clean room and nice restaurant. The menus offered are excellent.

26/12/2023: i have been to this restraunt now many times, and every times it’s been great. I’m sad to see they even have bad reviews, there is normally always one waiter, they can not serve every person at once so yes it takes a bit of time, but they are still extremely nice and helpful! i never found them rude. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, and the restaurant itself inside is very cute. I don’t think they deserve any bad reviews!!! thank you for always being amazing will keep coming back

25/09/2024: Just one thing. I don't find it normal for the menu to be put on the wall, you have to think about the person having lunch and who sees people passing by their table who come to choose what they are going to choose for lunch. This is the only downside.

21/09/2024: A walk around the opera and a terrace attracts us... The very nice surprise of the day... Welcoming service, delicious food at a very reasonable price.
