13/09/2026: We ate at the restaurant today and received a warm welcome and excellent service. They have a menu and daily specials; I had an excellent pistou soup, and the desserts are homemade. In short, we have absolutely no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend it!

28/09/2026: Chez Etienne is an institution, and there's always a queue outside, but we easily managed to get in for dinner, arriving shortly after opening. Right from the start, they made it clear: only cash is accepted, but no problem, there are ATMs nearby. We were greeted by the mischievous yet extremely efficient Nasser, a colorful character who was always on the go and didn't miss the opportunity to gently tease my companion with the kind of cheeky banter that characterizes Marseillais in the collective imagination. We were quickly seated with other customers at a table with a red checkered tablecloth (old-fashioned decor, of course). The place filled up very quickly, with a mix of regulars and tourists. On the wall, faded photos of the restaurant's history and the celebrities who have dined there. The noise level increased as the evening progressed. It's always packed, very noisy, and there's a crazy, joyful energy all around. The oven is working at full blast, and the pizzas come out uniformly crispy (i.e., not just on the edges). The seasoning is perfect, with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. There are only two topping choices, but that's more than enough: cheese or anchovies, with the option of a half-and-half. Both are very good, but I have a slight preference for the lighter anchovy pizza. It's worth noting, because it's not obvious: the pizzas aren't sold by "dish" but by "person." So, a "2-person" pizza is equivalent to two quarter pizzas per person for two people (which is one full pizza). It also seems that there are different pizza sizes depending on the number of people. The salad is also very generous. Next to us, our table neighbors ordered cuttlefish, which looked exquisite. The meat dishes also appeared to be of high quality. Indeed, the restaurant isn't just a pizzeria; it also serves other dishes. Despite the crowd outside and the quick service, we weren't rushed to pay the bill or clear the table. The staff is unpretentious but always very attentive and helpful. Dining at Etienne's was a truly unique experience, well worth the trip.

22/08/2026: Excellent pizzeria that really nailed the classics; the Margherita and the half and half are delicious. Thin crust, perfectly prepared tomato sauce, quality ingredients. Always a treat.

29/06/2026: I order from Top Pizza regularly and I'm never disappointed. The pizzas are always delicious, generously topped, and prepared with care. The service is friendly and the orders are ready on time. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend them!

14/07/2026: Trying it with my daughter thanks to the new management. Very good pizzas made with quality ingredients, and what's more, they're very easy to digest. The cooking was perfectly executed (the slice stood upright) and, unusually, the oregano was actually present (I love it). Special thanks to the young delivery driver, who was quick, friendly, and efficient. May I suggest creating a loyalty card? I'm going to need it!!! Didn't have time to take pictures, we devoured them!!!

16/09/2026: We were looking for a table for 12 on the day of the fair, with all the restaurants packed and little help available. But as soon as we asked the waitress at this establishment, she didn't hesitate to move everything and carry tables and chairs to seat us very quickly. With children who were reaching their limit of impatience, we were already happy just to have them seated and food on the table, but we were also incredibly surprised by the quality of the pizzas—fantastic, Neapolitan crust, fresh ingredients. And best of all, the service was a 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for your patience, the fabulous service, and the impeccable attention to the children! We hope to return when you reopen!

15/08/2026: I think these are the best pizzas in Marseille (after many tries)! I only order from them now, and I highly recommend the turnovers, which are incredibly generously filled! Sad to be leaving Marseille and no longer being able to enjoy my favorite pizzas

18/08/2026: On match night, I was told there would be a 1 to 1.5 hour wait, which I understood. We waited 2 hours. I called again, and the pizza still wasn't in the oven. I waited another 30 minutes for a half-and-half pizza. They told me it was leaving and offered me a Coke. OK. I called again after 30 minutes. The delivery driver never called or came. My name was on the doorbell. 3 hours of waiting. Bad faith. I can excuse them, but mistakes happen. The receptionist told me the driver came, that I hadn't answered, but yeah, right. They lack seriousness, they have no professionalism. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. I am replying to your message. Lying doesn't reflect well on you!!!!

17/08/2026: The delivery time was indeed long, but the pizza was excellent! Plus, for the price, the portion is very generous.

01/09/2026: Very disappointing! Metro salad with dry, inedible cheese. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

06/08/2026: A very pleasant spot with a sea view, perfect for a drink during a stroll. The welcome was just right, nothing more, nothing less 😉
