For all these years, this restaurant has remained a reference! Well done to the team!

06/11/2025: La Vanille Noire is THE Marseille ice cream shop where each scoop is a frosted work of art 🍦🖤! Even the Old Port melts with pleasure just from the smell.
30/10/2025: Delicious! My absolute favorite was the peanut sorbet! It wasn't too sweet and had a real peanut flavor. Go without hesitation, plus the staff are lovely!

15/12/2024: Perfect evening! The dishes are very beautiful and good. The truffle pizza is very tasty, a small downside for the cherry tomatoes but that's the only negative point of the evening. The gourmet coffee is super beautiful and the decoration has real taste interest.
The service is very pleasant and very attentive. In short, good food and impeccable service + very good value for money.
I highly recommend!

04/08/2024: Order of 3 pizzas as usual, 2 non-compliant, waiting again, new delivery still not compliant, waiting again, it took 3 deliveries to get our order!
Order at 7:50 p.m. we ate at 9:40 p.m.
Unacceptable!
Not a commercial gesture.
For us it's over, we will no longer order from this pizzeria.
I don't recommend it.

23/01/2026: Maybe it was just an off day… in any case, very disappointed.
The cheese pizza was swimming in grease, the salad was dripping with oil. It felt like I'd swallowed half a liter of oil, my stomach was in knots. (And yet I love raclette and other hearty dishes!)
I was also disappointed with the service: impatient waiters, 45 minutes to serve the pizza (barely apologetic), change thrown on the table, the waiter annoyed by the lack of space between the tables (we were practically glued to each other)…
€24 for the pizza (just tomato and cheese) - €5 for the curly endive salad on the side.
An institution? Really?
06/01/2026: Very nice spot! Servers are funny and the food is really tasty. Some stuff on the menu is overpriced in my opinion. You can only pay in cash too.

02/12/2025: Hello, your pizzas are good, okay, but not exactly amazing, frankly.
However, we called you at 7:43 PM to order two pizzas, and you told us "within an hour." We called back after an hour and fifteen minutes, and you told us you were going to put them in the oven. Well, you delivered them after... an hour and fifty-five minutes!
Why not be honest from the start and tell us it would take that long? We would have given up and made pasta instead... Honestly, making us wait until 9:40 PM to deliver two barely lukewarm pizzas for €27.50 is completely unprofessional. No apology, the delivery driver was lovely but completely unaware and at the end of a huge route...
In short, we won't be ordering again. Best regards.

21/11/2025: I received a very warm welcome from Lionel, who is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. There was little waiting time, the dishes were very generous and delicious – in short, a fantastic and very convenient place to eat when you're at the Conception Hospital! I recommend it 1000%!

Mediocre service with a rude waitress who barely spoke to us. The food was pretty good, but the value for money was poor. The only positive aspect was the consideration given to someone with dietary restrictions.
19/06/2025: A small restaurant in a tiny courtyard guarded by an old fig tree. A pleasant, unpretentious atmosphere. You don't notice the hustle and bustle of the street.
At lunch, there were only two dishes to choose from per course (starter, main course, dessert). The dishes are original and creative, and good to very good, but not (yet?) Michelin-star worthy. However, you'll definitely be full. Three menus and two glasses of wine cost around 100 euros. The restaurant isn't particularly suitable for small children, but it's highly recommended for a refined break from sightseeing.
The starter of baked eggplant and olive oil mayonnaise was very delicately seasoned, while the main course of rice was a bit dry. The service was a bit cool, but the owner was very friendly.
I would go again.
