07/06/2026: Chosen on a whim as we walked by, my wife and I decided to try the pizza at this charming little shop (everything seems to be imported from Italy, right down to the cola). We ordered the buffalo mozzarella to give it a go. As someone who loves thick, crusty pizzas with a soft, fluffy edge, I was surprised when this very thin-crust pizza arrived. The first bite was pure bliss; the crust had a delicious, slightly crispy texture—an instant pleasure. It continued to surprise throughout the meal, and even in the center of the pizza, it remained technically perfect. The buffalo mozzarella has its own unique, delicious, and creamy flavor. And here comes the only slight drawback: the tomato sauce, which struck me as completely bland—neither good nor bad, but as if it lacked a touch of sweetness or perhaps a hint of salt. In conclusion, a month later, I'm still stuck on that fantastic crust, which has been on my mind ever since whenever I mention pizza. And I still have that feeling that the tomato base wasn't quite up to the standard of everything else, which was a pure delight (not to mention the perfectly executed tiramisu). I plan to return on my next trip to Dijon. I forgot to mention the very warm welcome. The staff were very kind.

10/06/2026: I arrived at the restaurant by 9pm and was refused service. The staff member told me they were closing now, in a way that felt disrespected. What made the experience worse was that I was also teased by the staff as I was leaving, which felt unprofessional and targeted. I genuinely hope this was not racially motivated, but the tone and behaviour left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. I would urge the management to look into how front‑of‑house staff treat customers arriving near closing time, and to ensure all guests are treated with basic respect and dignity, regardless of their background.

06/06/2026: This is our third time dining at Amarone, and each visit is a true delight. This Italian restaurant is a real gem. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming; you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The decor and ambiance are truly delightful. As for the food, everything is delicious: dishes prepared with care, and you can taste the passion in every plate. But what makes the experience even more special is the team. The staff is remarkably kind, always smiling, attentive, and caring. You're welcomed like a friend, and that makes all the difference. Thank you for these wonderful moments shared with you. 17/05/2026: This is one of our favorite restaurants for a family outing; the kids love it, it's friendly, the staff is pleasant, and it's good value for money. However, I find the service a bit rushed. Last night we had an aperitif with a small platter of snacks, and our main courses arrived at the same time... the pizza and mojito weren't great, and as a result, the platter became pointless since it was more of a snack to tide us over. It's not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it! 😄

06/06/2026: The service was very slow… The food was very good. However, the waitress we had was unfriendly and didn't smile. We asked her for the dessert menu, she gave it to us, and then she never came back to take our order… Yet she kept walking right past us, completely clueless! While we waited to order, she preferred to chat and laugh with her colleagues behind the bar. So we didn't get our desserts. Very disappointed with the service.

05/06/2026: The staff's welcome was excellent, even though it started badly because we found ourselves with a group of people stuck outside as the door wouldn't open... Then the waitress was responsive and lovely, and we were served quickly. However, the food left much to be desired. My friend and I ordered the dish with three portions of pasta. The lasagna was edible, but my salmon pasta was cold, and I had less than my friend. As for the spinach pasta, it was good, but some of it wasn't cooked properly. Then, halfway through the meal, a nauseating smell of garbage wafted over us, attracting flies that wouldn't leave us alone for the rest of the meal... It really raises questions about hygiene... And to top it all off, my friend and I were sick all night! We definitely won't be going back!

15/05/2026: A great place that's worth discovering. It's a good option for lunch when visiting the Museoparc Alésia. We had a reservation. We ate well; the tiramisu could have used more coffee or amaretto, or both, but that's just our personal preference ;) The place is small and therefore gets noisy quickly, but the friendly smiles and warm welcome more than make up for it. We'll definitely go back, being from the area.

04/03/2026: I rarely leave reviews, but I was very disappointed with this restaurant. When I booked a table by phone, I asked if they served fresh pasta. They confirmed they did, and I asked because I'd been burned before, so I made the reservation. That same evening, we were told they didn't have any pasta... this is the second time this has happened, and we came specifically for pasta. If pasta is no longer on the menu, they should clearly state this and not lie to customers.

19/05/2026: Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food: linguine with salmon and Pizza du Chef. The food was very tasty, prepared quickly, and served with a smile. Unlike many other restaurants, they also served hot food at 5:00 PM. Definitely recommended.

17/05/2026: Although the staff were very helpful, the food was far from enjoyable. The pizza had undercooked vegetables, the red pesto pasta was uninspired, and the dessert was unremarkable... Meh.
