20/07/2026: Always satisfied at Metapizza!!! The pizzas are generous and the dough is excellent. You have to book in advance to be sure of getting a table!

06/07/2026: Still the best! This establishment has a new address, now located in the heart of Métabief on Place Xavier Authier. A very pleasant location with a lovely terrace and attractive decor, a warm welcome, and very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas are still just as good! 😋

20/05/2026: Invited by a friend, I finally discovered this iconic Montbéliard spot... we had drinks (no complaints) and slices of pie. While my friend enjoyed his lemon meringue pie, I was very disappointed with the blueberry ones: far too sweet for my taste, with very little fruit and practically no filling, so quite dry! The worst I've ever had. The waitress was only moderately enthusiastic. The decor has a charming, vintage feel, and there's a nice terrace (even if the chairs aren't very comfortable).

We ordered two Aperol Spritzes, waited 45 minutes while the waitress went to check, then another 5 minutes because there was a problem with the ice! A total of 1 hour and 5 minutes of waiting only to be told they couldn't get any ice! Not a word of apology, nothing, no compensation for the inconvenience... Well done for ruining our Fête de la Musique evening!! Count on me to give you some very bad publicity!

04/08/2026: Closing time 10 PM. But at 9:15 PM we were told the kitchen was closed. We asked for a drink, same answer, they were closing. If the owners happen to see this, they should check the date of this review; you'll be rewarding those who didn't feel like working that evening.

29/07/2026: My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. * Customer service: terrible, especially if you're a tourist. * Value for money: very poor. The food doesn't justify the price. * Cleanliness: very poor. During our visit, we saw cockroaches, which we found unacceptable. * Space: the place is very small. When there's a queue, it takes up practically the entire establishment, making it very difficult to move around. * Price information: unclear and confusing. My recommendation is that if you want to try the food, order takeout. The ordering process was also quite chaotic. First, they prepare the food, and then they make you repeat the entire list of what you ordered. If you're a tourist, remembering and pronouncing unfamiliar names can be difficult, especially when you place a large order for several people. It seems like the staff gets stressed in these situations. Communication with foreign customers was very poor, and the service was also quite slow. Finally, the drinks were mostly warm and the glasses were very dirty. In short, a very negative experience that I wouldn't repeat.

02/05/2026: The service and atmosphere were impeccable, but I'm really disappointed with the quality... the chicken was really bad, the tomato sauce needs changing, maybe with San Marzano, and you can't taste the mozzarella... what a shame!

26/06/2026: Avoid at all costs 😱 We arrived as a group of five for drinks on the terrace, asked for an extra glass of water, and were told, "We don't have that" 😲! Uh… okay! As we were leaving, the table next to us had clearly received their glass of water; it must be a matter of personal preference!! And for the price… I don't understand… especially given the heat we're experiencing right now. I can see why there are bad reviews! We won't be going back, that's for sure!!

20/06/2026: There were three of us and we ordered shrimp, spaghetti bolognese, and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad wasn't very meaty, but it was good. The rest of the portions were generous, and the value was good. I highly recommend a visit.

19/02/2026: This was my second visit to this restaurant while passing through – the service is very friendly, even though they don't speak German, but hey, we're in France! The pizza is absolutely fantastic when it's fresh; some Italian restaurants in Germany could learn a thing or two – I've rarely eaten so well! A definite recommendation – chapeau!

20/03/2026: I placed my order at 7:15 PM and was told it wouldn't be delivered before 8:00 PM. I said no problem. I called again at 8:30 PM because I hadn't heard anything. I asked for some kind of compensation and was told no. I've been a customer there for several years. That's it. Order elsewhere.

17/01/2026: My children ordered pizzas, and I had carpaccio, nuggets, and potatoes. The dough was soggy, it was swimming in oil, my carpaccio was still frozen, the toast wasn't fresh, the potatoes were burnt, and the same went for the nuggets (at least the ones that were cooked). We were very sick all night and for a good part of the following day. I will never order from them again. 😡😡😡
