06/04/2024: This place deserves closer to 4 starts rather than 5. The food is good, not great, just run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant you'll find in any city. The vegetarian pizza had a variety of veggies and a soft crust, however the cheese could've been better. It was too stretchy. Take one bite, and the cheese from the entire slice would've come into your mouth. The spinach cheese ravioli was more of the cheese ravioli with flavors of spinach. Eat here for the ambience not for the food.

31/03/2024: Very, very delicious Italian food. We were lucky that this place was so close to our hotel. Make reservations as we saw a few people who walked in be turned away as there were no tables.

The standout dish for me was the pasta with shrimp – a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked pasta, and a flavorful sauce that made it the best I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. They recommended a wine that beautifully complemented our meals, elevating the entire dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the charm, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dessert was the perfect ending to a delightful meal, maintaining the high standard set by the preceding courses. I highly recommend BAFFO for anyone looking for an exquisite Italian meal in Paris, and I certainly look forward to my next visit.

05/04/2024: Stumbled across this place while roaming around Notre Dame area. Delicious meal with a very decent price for the location. We had a cesar salade and pasta arabiatta, both were delicious. Highly recommend! Not flashy or touristy.

06/05/2024: Amazing dumplings!!! And the sauces (including spicy one). On top of it, very sweet and hospital lady who took the orders and served the food. Definitely come back!

04/05/2024: I enjoy my lunch there. They open around 12.30. You can choose either beef, pork or even vege momo (dumpling). Try their special chili sauce too. Be ware as it it so hot. Just put little every bite of your momo. Their service is excellent too. Their are so warm with their customer. Will come back again n brings my fam there if Ive opportunity.

13/05/2024: Great Italian restaurant just outside the tourist crowds. Nice terrace on the water. Delicious burrata, creamy pasta with truffle and homemade lasagna to die for. Nice atmosphere where you can feel the Italian hospitality. Highly recommended!

02/04/2024: What a disgusting place…Nasty customer service especially towards tourists. We walked in 5 minutes prior to closing, and the two guys lied to the face saying that something is wrong with our cards. They turned off the machine with a smirk on their faces making a payment to be declined. We ended up going a hundred feet to Pozzetto to buy ice cream…oh yes and the same card magically had worked. Stay away from this lousy place.

31/03/2024: Very warm welcome, I had lunch there with my 3 year old daughter and the two waitresses were really adorable and professional!! The cuisine is good, the dishes could be better presented but for the price it's okay! Children’s menu at €12.90, we loved the French toast!

07/05/2024: Still not convinced because this place has changed a lot. The boss feels at home and is moody depending on the customers. I saw him do it with my wife, a month ago, behaving without smiling, without saying hello, and friends have just told me that they felt like we had to be "friends of the boss" now as if The Bucheron was the home of the new manager, and no longer a place for customers. I go there regularly with my wife and for non-formal business lunches, the prices have increased, the place is losing its splendor in decor. Everyone is nice except the boss who is really unfriendly, but has his temper. and above all we must not leave a bad comment because he makes us pay dearly for it, without taking it into account and only does what he pleases.

01/05/2024: Very warm welcome, very smiling waiter. The dishes were plentiful, excellent. We recommend without hesitation.
