02/05/2026: Holidays in Lyon. It was my first time in France, and after sampling the local cuisine, I couldn't help but gravitate towards Italian food. The charcuterie platter was excellent. The gocchi were exceptional, but the pizza had a unique flavor and texture. Coming from Salento, it was much more like our pizzas than the classic Neapolitan style, which I appreciated all the more. If you don't speak French, the staff is very friendly and speaks excellent Italian. I highly recommend it.

As for the food, it's a true journey to Italy. The dishes are flavorful, generous, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a delight; the flavors are perfectly balanced. The pizzas are excellent, probably among the best I've ever tasted. The desserts are also divine, a real treat to end the meal. The restaurant has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You immediately feel at ease, like you're at home. The decor is tasteful and creates an authentic ambiance. It's the perfect place to spend quality time with friends or family. The value for money is truly excellent considering the quality offered. Everything is there for a wonderful evening. You leave with a smile and the desire to return very soon. A must-visit in Villefranche-sur-Saône! I highly recommend it.
