Very tasty & fresh food at very reasonable prices. Service was very friendly. Crowd is mostly touristy but the food is genuine.

We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both of which were perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is great for having a good time, not to mention the friendly staff.

A delightful surprise in a touristy area!
On the plate: The lasagna was simply incredible, among the best I've ever had! A tiny bit too salty for my taste, but the quality and flavor were definitely there.
The price: The bill is still substantial, but in such a touristy area of Old Lyon, where tourist traps are often a concern, it's worth it. You pay the price, but for truly good food, it's not surprising.
The ambiance: The place is quite small, which makes it very noisy. That's to be expected given the layout of the room, but it's good to know.
The service: A big thank you to the team! The servers remained very friendly and professional despite the intense conditions and fast pace.

I had a wonderful time at La Trattoria de Saint-Jean. The atmosphere is warm and the restaurant is very pleasant. The waiters and waitresses are truly lovely, welcoming, smiling, and very attentive. You immediately feel at ease.
The pizzas were delicious, as was the rest of the meal. The ingredients are high quality and everything was truly excellent.
I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful welcome; I will definitely be back.
