Plus, the service is fast; I didn't even wait 10 minutes.
I had the S1 menu (24 sushi pieces) for €14.90, and it was delicious and well-prepared.
With the menu, they served a cabbage salad and miso soup.
Both were also very flavorful and delicious.
The salmon sashimi was very tasty and very fresh.
There's a wide variety of choices on the menu; I recommend this restaurant for sushi lovers. 😊

26/02/2026: Excellent sushi restaurant, always very fresh. They offer plenty of takeout and delivery, but also dine-in service. Welcoming and efficient, the service is perfect at the table and the wait is reasonable, even when it's busy with takeout orders (10 to 20 minutes depending on how busy they are). They accept holiday vouchers, which is quite rare for a restaurant and worth mentioning, although they don't have the online version, so you'll need the paper version.
24/02/2026: The owner was very welcoming, the salmon was impeccably fresh, the sushi was delicious and generous, and the fried food was particularly tasty. I will definitely go back!

12/03/2026: Inedible, we didn't even finish our meal. We ordered takeout, and given how quickly we were served, it's clear the food wasn't fresh. The taste confirmed it; it's probably one of the worst Japanese restaurants I've been to in Paris.

23/12/2025: A disastrous experience from start to finish.
The welcome was icy and dismissive from the moment we arrived. We clearly felt like we were bothering them: no politeness, no explanation, no consideration whatsoever.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food mirrored the service. The sushi was inedible:
– excessively sticky and poorly prepared rice
– fish (tuna) with a dubious and very unpleasant taste
So much so that I simply couldn't finish my plate, despite being hungry. The only decent thing was the skewers, which speaks volumes for a sushi restaurant.
The worst part was the end: instead of reflecting on her mistake, the waitress made an inappropriate comment about us not having finished, implying that we had "ordered too much." When I calmly explained that the problem stemmed from the quality of the sushi, she took it very badly, and the conversation turned unpleasant.
I've never been here before, contrary to what I was told, and this first visit will obviously be my last.
Hostile service, no willingness to learn, and quality unworthy of the prices charged.
I strongly advise against it.
21/12/2025: We tried this local restaurant despite the sometimes negative reviews on this page, and against all odds, we enjoyed our evening! The all-you-can-eat menu had all the classics, the maki and sushi were well-made, and the fried food deserves a special mention for the beef and cheese skewers and the fried salmon maki! We'll be back 😊

25/08/2024: We have lived across the street from Haxo Sushi for 15 years now, and we have been loyal to it since the very beginning. Every visit is a real pleasure, and we have never been disappointed by the quality of their dishes... until recently.
The sushi, always of incomparable freshness, is usually prepared with care and precision. The fish is tender, the portions generous, and the rice perfectly seasoned. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to taste almost everything on their menu, and each specialty is a great discovery.
However, during our last visit a few days ago, we noted that the fish was not as fresh as usual. We think it might be related to their recent return from vacation, and it's not a big deal. We are convinced that this small drop in performance is temporary and that Haxo Sushi will quickly return to its usual quality.
What makes Haxo Sushi even more special is the warm welcome and impeccable service we receive every time. The staff knows us well now, smiles from the gentleman who prepares the dishes and it is always a pleasure to exchange a few words with them while enjoying our meal.
Despite this little hitch, Haxo Sushi has managed to maintain a constant level of quality over the years, and it is a real pleasure to see such a well-run establishment prosper in our neighborhood. The value for money remains excellent, and it is undoubtedly one of the best addresses for fans of Japanese cuisine in our neighborhood.
