01/04/2024: Very disappointed with my experience. We're a little fooled by the beautiful photos on their Instagram account. Located in a rather disreputable and dirty area. The cuisine is really more than average, the rice is not even Japanese for example. The atmosphere is cold and the service is not great. The toilets and counter are of questionable cleanliness.

05/04/2024: New opinion: one star less because you have to stop the water in the pitchers which are kept in the fridge, the water tastes like sushi, being extremely sensitive to the taste of water, it took away my appetite, please come back to the closed bottles, the rest is still good, impeccable service except for the arguments between the chef and the waitress.

29/03/2024: The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, but the food is very good.
The staff is friendly.
I tasted each dish/dessert, in the evening there must have been around twenty of them and everything was very good.

02/04/2024: I was very poorly received. The makis were not particularly good. And the reception needs to be reviewed because you are not asked to “double yourself” as you say but only to be commercial. When you arrive at 2:25 p.m. and you take more than 5 minutes to serve a customer and therefore refuse within a minute the support offered (i.e. at 2:31 p.m.) for lunch it's a disaster. One star is just because we can't give it 0 but I totally advise against it. It’s really losing a customer stupidly.

02/04/2024: Slower and slower, behind on orders. The quality is also deteriorating. Ordering takeaway means you're guaranteed to hang around for half an hour in the poorly maintained premises, being pushed around and hit with bags from the horde of delivery men. In short, never again

16/03/2024: Kaiseki menu: subtle balance of flavors, texture and colors in pure tradition
We find exactly the soul of the Kaiseki dinners from our trip to Japan. The chef's menu is a reflection of the traditional gourmet meal served in a ryokan (doll's kitchen made up of different small dishes with refined flavors). The products are fresh, perfectly processed (hence sometimes a little waiting between dishes because the preparation is meticulous). The service is attentive and smiling and the dishes are so kawaii. For us, it is the restaurant closest to the quality traditional Japanese cuisine that we tasted there. We will come back. Thank you to the team for this exceptional moment.

13/03/2024: It's an izakaya, a restaurant serving REAL Japanese dishes, not European-style sushi.
A cuisine as tasty and sought-after as ever. Real traditional recipes (poteto salada, gyoza, etc.).
The previous owner retired and returned to Japan, the new team is charming and dynamic, they speak Japanese with the regulars! The decor has been completely revised and modernized but the menu and suggestions remain as high quality as ever. For me, it remains the best Japanese restaurant in Lyon.
The bill may seem steep but it's well worth it.
Be careful, I repeat, this is not a sushi restaurant, even if they have some on the menu... Go ahead if that's what you're looking for.
09/03/2024: Everything was delicious, from the chirashi to the green tea chocolate fondant. The service was there! Very pleasant atmosphere we will come back to taste the rest of the menu :)

26/11/2023: I'm removing my 5 stars, I've been a regular customer on Uber Eats for several years, I'm changing the salad with the rice, today I'm being told that it will no longer be possible for no reason and what's more they're hanging up on me, you you lost a customer well done
08/11/2023: I give 2 stars because the makis look more like all-you-can-eat restaurant makis where they put more rice than filling as you can see in the photos.

I am greatly touched by it. We must recognize the great professionalism of the staff! And always. I have been ordering from them for years, the quality of the products is there. I highly recommend.
