28/04/2026: Disappointed by our second visit to Les Clefs d’Argent. During our first lunch there, back when the restaurant still held its Michelin star, we appreciated the quality of the cuisine, despite the somewhat stiff and inattentive service. We therefore decided to give the establishment another chance. Lunch on the terrace was pleasant, but the exterior décor struck us as too simple and lacking in elegance, especially compared to the understated yet refined interior, adorned with beautiful decorative pieces. The chef's prominent placement in numerous photographs is striking, while the owner's presence seems much more subdued. Regarding the service, two young, clearly inexperienced waiters appeared uncomfortable whenever a question was asked. The "market-fresh" menu, paired with wines, unfortunately failed to impress us: adequate, but without any particular excitement or surprising flavors. We also discovered upon receiving the bill that an extra charge had been applied for the glass of sweet white wine. It would have been more elegant and transparent to mention this when placing the order. After this second attempt, we don't plan to return.

10/05/2026: Hello, we went today and were a little disappointed compared to usual. We come quite regularly and are usually very well received. Today, the two employees didn't seem very enthusiastic; one pretended not to hear/see us for quite a while, until her colleague returned from her break. We placed our usual order with an extra wrap, and we were disappointed with the quantity of fries we received. They are usually cooked in a pan so you can judge the right amount, but this time the employee just served them by hand... We paid for 150g for 6 fries (my partner and I usually share them, so we have a rough idea of ​​what it usually amounts to, and the quantity was clearly insufficient). Then, at the time of payment, if my partner hadn't requested a set menu, no one would have offered it to us, and the way the set menus were presented was not at all advantageous (choosing the wrap as a set menu instead of the second Sub30, even though we had specifically requested sandwiches, is clearly a shame). The employee, usually very helpful and smiling, became less so as the order progressed. It's very disappointing, and we don't plan to return for a while. This is more of a warning for future customers than anything else, to prevent this kind of unpleasant experience for others. Sincerely.

Having fun is one thing, but you are causing a disturbance, especially since some of you work evenings. If this continues, we will take the necessary measures. 27/11/2025: Had the 16.50 lunch . Soup main course and nougat with a wine . Excellent value for money. Soup was delicious, and the main course piquant chicken was absolutely delicious. Yes the restaurant is very dated, behind the counter needs a good cleaning. Which could put some people off. The owner was a lovely person. We waited about 10 minutes for our main. It was well worth the wait piping hot and super tasty. If you order a la carte it's more expensive than most Chinese restaurants. The quality is what your paying for the ingredients were excellent.

08/09/2025: Restaurant experience: One Monday at lunchtime, the set menu was advertised at €25 (starter/main course/dessert/coffee). We were told to choose from the €34 menu for our selections, but that at lunchtime it was indeed €25. Being in a hurry, we skipped the coffee, and then the bill came to €34 for the set menu! We asked for an explanation, and the owner, unfriendly and even quite curt, told us that since we hadn't ordered coffee, it was €34! No, this isn't a joke! Outrageous!

05/05/2026: Hello, I just ordered two tacos today between 11:20 and 11:40 AM from the vending machine at 558 Avenue du Président John Kennedy, 40000 Mont-de-Marsan. The first taco was very good, however, the second contained chicken nuggets that were still frozen (or very nearly so). And some of the fries were in the same condition as the nuggets.
