14/06/2026: Yes, but... This review, which is entirely my own, concerns a high-end establishment, or rather, an establishment that charges high prices, hence my reservations. I'm posting it for those who are lucky enough to have friends who will treat them to a 6-course tasting menu (without drinks) for a hefty 90 euros per person. We couldn't go whenever we wanted, but oh well... we went anyway. The weather was beautiful and warm, and we were in the (rather ordinary) outdoor courtyard of the restaurant with three other couples. Upon arrival, we were offered water—still or sparkling—so we ordered still water (which cost us 7 euros at the end of the meal). Then they brought us the wine list, or rather, the wine bible. I must say, we were a little taken aback by the almost endless selection of wines and their prices (about three to five times the price of a bottle). Anyway, we had a very ordinary 8-euro kir as an aperitif. Since we didn't want to pay between 8 and 18 euros for a glass of wine or 60 euros for an ordinary bottle, we ordered a 26-euro bottle from a well-known winemaker in Gascony whose wine sells for 7 euros in supermarkets. The dishes on the menu were beautifully presented and quite good, even very good (that's 15 euros each, though), but that's undeniable—it's the work of a chef. What really bothered us was that, with such a high-priced menu, we weren't offered an aperitif and wine pairings upfront. Quite frankly, the food was good, but it lacked that extra something, and I think the wine pairing was largely to blame, as was the disproportion between what should have been a memorable experience and the price.

19/04/2026: You'll need to buy a good kilo of smiles. As friendly as a prison door, she practically shoves your purchase in your face. The food might be good, but the service behind the counter is appalling. If you don't want to work in retail, find another job.

04/09/2026: We were traveling from Savoie to Spain and made a quick stop at this discreet restaurant, quite by chance... and we left absolutely delighted! The waitresses gave us a truly warm welcome, everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert: generous portions, unlimited fresh water, a bright and airy dining room... in short, a lovely break. I highly recommend it: you're a sure bet! (If I may make a slight suggestion: I'm vegan, and given the quality of your food/products/preparations, I would have really appreciated having some options that catered to my dietary needs. 🙏 But no pressure: we'll gladly return if we ever find ourselves in your area again!)

24/08/2026: We went to the cider house twice last night: first in the late afternoon for a drink and possibly dinner… after finishing our beers, we decided to go somewhere else because it was too hot in the establishment's patio. Moreover, the very friendly waitresses were also very/too insistent on us staying for dinner, which was almost embarrassing. After a short walk around town, we decided to return to the cider house since there wasn't a more airy restaurant open on this Sunday evening. There, the owner greeted us with such unpleasant and inappropriate remarks that we decided to leave. How can someone be so aggressive when they're a business owner… I don't know, unless the heat had gotten to him? In short, avoid this place if you're looking for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, the contents of our appetizer platter were nothing special!

05/09/2026: Poor service from an unpleasant owner. Terrible food; only the interior setting is nice.

28/08/2026: A very pleasant atmosphere, warm staff, a beautiful view from the restaurant, and an excellent location right in the city center. A big thank you to the chef for this absolutely delicious dish. I highly recommend it!
