14/08/2024: Assez quelquonque, des promesses de plats non tenues! Par exemple le travers de porc confit n'est pas confit, les frites sont brunes, molles et froides.
Déserts à éviter.

29/08/2024: A superb discovery, for a restaurant evening close to the beach.
Very warm welcome, which exudes good humor and kindness.
We will return at the next passage through the moors.
The dishes are beautiful and above all succulent.

The mussels with cream and the homemade fries are so good.

The dishes were very generous and the mussels were good quality.
We benefited from great service provided by Jérômine, who was very warm and bubbly.
In short, we highly recommend this restaurant.

22/09/2024: Even after the owners have changed, the Auberge du Born remains a good address. The food is good, as is the wine selection. The service is simply super nice and helpful. We find the atmosphere very appealing. We'd love to come back.
17/09/2024: A cozy, spacious place. Attentive and friendly staff. Dinner was delicious.

09/09/2024: Charming shop for sweets and fast food. We enjoyed going here for breakfast: Café and Chocolatine - both as they should be. The whole family works here and the locals also come here for breakfast. Correspond to a nice family atmosphere!
Bowls are recommended for lunch (better than those at the Surf House) and the burgers are also good. In the afternoon you can find everything sweet you can imagine, from ice cream to crepes and waffles - crepes are very tasty, the ice cream is fine. We'd love to come back when we're in Contis!
PS: the old logo with the burger as a house in Simpsons comic style is really great - 10/10.

14/09/2024: Alors que le pizzaiolo se démène pour nous concocter de savoureuses pizzas ces dernières attendent que la serveuse se décide enfin à les porter à notre table pour que nous les dégustions ... froides !!! Mais pas de soucis pendant ce temps, le spectacle est dans la salle : un groupe de jeunes roule ses joints à la table voisine et se rend dans les toilettes pour les consommer !!!
11/09/2024: Nous avons passé un super moment en famille, table vue sur les cuisines, ce qui offre un spectacle distrayant pour tous les sens et une convivialité spontanée.
Sans prétention, cette petite adresse nous a régalés de par sa justesse de saveurs, alliant une cuisson au feu de bois parfaitement maîtrisée d’aliments sains et simples.
À recommander sans hésiter!

25/09/2024: We had a great week. Warm welcome. Very nice clean campsite. Silent. Bird songs. Outdoor swimming pool and indoor heated swimming pool. Mobilhomme super single rooms with bathroom and WC in the rooms. Terrace with a plancha. All comfort. I recommend this campsite. We went there in September. Close to the beach. No need to take the car.

09/09/2024: Passing through the Landes on a stormy evening, we stopped for dinner. 1st reception, rather cold by a person sitting in front of the door and who told me to leave my dog (a small lapdog) in the car, reflection from the gentleman behind the bar saying he did not want 15 dogs in his restaurant!!!
It got cold, we stayed for dinner and nothing to get excited about. Additionally, given the storm, the roof was leaking. It would be good to review your opinion on animals!!!!.

30/08/2024: Dirty dishes, fat inside the glass and ashes on the top from having had a pint of beer, served without a tray, bland food and too expensive for what it is. 45€ for 4 paninis at 6€, two pints of blonde at 8€ and two cans at 2.50€, there are limits for the quality of the restaurant…

05/09/2024: Nous avons pris une parillada, pour 30€ , il y avait 1 crevette, un petit filet de poisson et 3 petits chipirons, le reste du plat comptait uniquement des moules. Ce qui a fait un plat très cher pour 90% de moules.
Nous avons été malade le lendemain, j'ai suspecte les moules car de fraîches étaient mélangées avec des desséchées.
Le rapport qualité prix était vraiment médiocre.

04/12/2024: Restaurant pas chauffé, attente interminable (nous avons vu passer les plats des clients arrivés bien après nous!)....tout ça pour une cassolette de chipirons décongelés et baignant dans l'eau, des frites également mal décongelés.....nous en sommes restés là! La carte avait l'air alléchante...avons nous été pris pour des touristes? Ce n'est pas le cas! Nous éviterons cet établissement
25/11/2024: Table de 4 devant la baie vitrée.
Un menu du jour complet en 3 plats, avec un choix de 3 assiettes à chaque fois.
Ce jour on a choisi une salade thaï, complète et copieuse et une cassolette de coeur de canard à la persillade....un régal
En plat, un hamburger avec un effiloché de porc et des fish and chips croustillants avec des frites maison et une sauce au top.
Le dessert fut tout aussi une réussite...
Assiette de mini babas et tiramisu à la crème de marrons.
Un service impeccable et souriant, des assiettes parfaitement dressées et copieuses.
Un vrai moment gourmand.
Merci à cette jeune équipe.

27/08/2024: I went to the Lou restaurant and it was very good but we went back to get takeaway and the burger was filled with ketchup to cover up the taste and the fries were inedible because they were made of stone.
I recommend this restaurant but not for takeaway.
The fries in the photo were some of the inedible ones.
24/08/2024: WORST POSSIBLE RESTAURANT EVER! We waited 1,5 hour before we got our food and it was terrible! They served raw chicken and we didn’t eat our meals because we were afraid to have food poisoning! They did not even excused for the bad dishes! DON’T EVEN THINK TO GO THERE!
