09/04/2026: The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable. Easy to access, fairly quiet with soft background music. There's also a large outdoor terrace on a quiet street. The staff were helpful, pleasant, and friendly. A good experience for lunch with my parents, inside 👍

09/12/2025: I came for the stag party of my friend's uncle's son (kisses, youyout!) and I loved it: a wild, bloodthirsty brawl with Julien (homemade pizza specialist) emerging victorious. After the fight, how could I forget the shots offered by the owner, Pat, whom I send my love to. He kindly offered them to us when we arrived in leopard-print thongs and Basquouzzettes, and even adopted our sartorial customs (it suited him perfectly). Great place to have fun with friends, I recommend it and I'll be back.

28/11/2025: At Pat by Mel, everything is perfect. A warm welcome coupled with superb service, a private room 😉, delicious food, and a very reasonable bill. Karaoke every Friday and themed evenings once a month (not tried). Happy hour Monday to Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A second visit to Pat by Mel and just as good as the first. I highly recommend Mel's croque monsieur, which is absolutely divine. It's simply HUGE in both size and flavor, and all for a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for? Go for it!

14/04/2026: Great restaurant! I was just passing through to visit family, and it was a wonderful discovery. The owner is a passionate foodie. I highly recommend it. The homemade Desperados and homemade vanilla coffee-infused rum are top-notch.

07/04/2026: My last visit to Patapain left me with a positive impression, but learning afterward that your sourcing supports these practices has deeply tarnished it. As a customer, this completely changes my perspective on my experience with you. In the standard farms you source from, piglets have their tails docked and their teeth filed down at birth, while sows spend half their lives in cages. These intelligent and sensitive animals deserve better.

27/03/2026: Prices far too high for basic, poor-quality dishes. I ordered the linguine carbonara, which was served with a yellowish liquid at the bottom of my plate, a few pieces of bacon, and "shrimp" of Parmesan that were actually slices. I pointed this out when paying, and the woman replied, "Ah, madam, this is real carbonara, the Italian way!" At 57, I'm discovering real carbonara!!! At La Scaleta in Romorantin! And the insistence on a tip!!! For a waiter who was clearing our table while we weren't finished, where we had to ask for water, then water glasses, then bread, then salt and pepper, then chili oil! We went to La Scaleta in Bourges last week; same prices, same dishes, but above all, quality on the plates, and impeccable service with a smile!

03/04/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. I arrived at the very end of service, but I had plenty of time to appreciate the simple yet delicious cuisine.

26/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We came with two children (6 and 9 years old). We received a very warm welcome, and the meals were perfect for kids. The traditional cuisine was excellent. The price was more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back! 👍👍👍👍
