21/09/2026: We went to the Jules & John in Boé on September 21st. Here's my feedback:
- When placing our order, the first two menus were selected without any problem. There was a problem with the children's menu, as it seems it's no longer available, while the Jules & John in Agen still offers it. Why the difference? In the end, we ordered similar items from the children's menu, but the price was significantly different (double).
I would appreciate it if a solution could be found.
- When we chose our drinks from the vending machine, the 7up wasn't really 7up but rather a fizzy drink with a salty taste.
- There was no air conditioning in the dining area; it was much hotter than outside. This is unacceptable given the current heatwave.
The only positive point: the food was good.
Next time, I will choose the other Jules & John.

06/09/2026: Excellent quality, fresh products, one of the best fish and seafood restaurants in Agen. It's not the first time and it won't be the last.
27/08/2026: The food is unrefined; the side dishes are almost identical regardless of the dish chosen.
It's also regrettable that the portions, especially of fish, are very small for the price.
The dining room is noisy.
Their strong point: the terrace and the opportunity to eat seafood in Agen.

The service is efficient and always courteous, but on busy days the wait might discourage some customers.
04/09/2026: It was 1:30 PM. We arrived just as the meal service was winding down; almost all the tables hadn't been cleared, which perhaps indicated a staff shortage. We sat down to have a coffee and a beer for my husband at an uncleared table. The waiter, although he saw us, didn't seem in any hurry to clear the table or even ask what we wanted. At first, we waited patiently—perhaps he was overwhelmed? But since he was chatting calmly with other customers, we waited for over 20 minutes. Then, seeing that another waiter was preparing to serve four people, he quickly cleared a table. We concluded that no one was going to serve us and left without having ordered anything, very disappointed by the nonexistent service!

11/05/2026: An unexpected oasis of tranquility (surrounded by an industrial area). The driveway alone, lined with centuries-old Atlas cedars, is phenomenal.
The rooms are functional and clean.
Also suitable for family gatherings.

I am writing to you following my stay at the Château de Saint-Marcel, during which I spent three nights.
First, I would like to highlight some very positive aspects: Stéphanie, in the dining room, was particularly pleasant and professional, and the chefs showed great consideration, especially towards me and a friend who was unwell. Their attitude deserves sincere praise.
However, my experience was significantly marred by the behavior of a member of the staff responsible for breakfast service. (This person is undoubtedly doing her job as a chambermaid, but it would be preferable if she did not interact with guests.)
Indeed, one morning when I arrived at 9:01 a.m. (or 10:01 a.m., depending on the closing time), the coffee machine had already been turned off. I then politely asked if it would be possible to get a coffee, specifying that I was willing to pay for it. I was charged for this service despite my stay of several days at your establishment, which I find particularly regrettable and unprofessional.
Beyond this incident, the overall attitude of this individual struck me as inappropriate: no greeting, a clear lack of hospitality, and an unpleasant impression of rigidity, even a deliberate attempt to hinder access to service (especially the following morning at opening time).
In my opinion, this type of behavior does not reflect the level of quality and hospitality expected in an establishment such as yours.
I therefore wanted to express my dissatisfaction in the hope that it will be taken into consideration to improve the experience of future guests.

28/08/2024: We only wanted a little snack to go with a drink, so ordered a few items from the “Finger Food” selection. Goats Cheese Fingers, Crispy Chicken and Fried Vegetables with Hummus. The goats cheese was the only correct item to arrive. Instead of the chicken, we received another deep fried cheese item, which we agreed to keep. The fried vegetables were horrible and slimy inside the batter and instead of hummus, which had run out, we received another tzatziki dip - the same as with the other two items. They agreed to take this item off the bill, but when paying they tried to charge for the chicken we didn’t receive, as well as the two cheese things. In all, everything seemed to be from a freezer centre and not very nice. The two stars are for the service, which was polite and professional when we arrived and when we complained. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

04/10/2024: C’était horrible j’ai faillit vomir la bouchée au porc tellement ça avait mauvais goût , les ailes de poulet puaient elles étaient périmées à mon avis depuis longtemps !! Le canard laqué qui en fait était une canette au caramel était bonne mais c’est tout les desserts insipides les fruits mauvais bref je n’y reviendrais pas

07/04/2024: Repas de travail pour un midi en terrasse. De bons produits cuit au feu de bois. Vous avez différents choix de possible à la carte ou menu.
