A superb atmosphere, impeccable hygiene, warm, welcoming, smiling, and kind staff, etc. etc. A reliable choice in the center of Lille for a great meal and a satisfying experience 😉

21/08/2026: The couscous was bland and tasteless (you couldn't taste any spices at all). The raisins were flavorless, and the vegetables, apart from carrots and zucchini, offered no variety. The chickpeas were also tasteless. The merguez sausages were tiny and had no flavor either. The red wine was served by the glass and was lukewarm! In short, a total flop. The decor is undeniably beautiful; you'd think you were in Morocco, but the food and service leave much to be desired. The price is also quite high... I booked through TheFork, which thankfully gave me a 20% discount on the dishes. But despite that, I was extremely disappointed. We were seated in a very cramped corner, even though there was plenty of space when we arrived (we were the first customers). In short, very disappointed.

26/08/2026: Incredible quality! I've been a regular at this restaurant for over 10 years, and I've seen it constantly improve (even though the bar was already set very high). Everything is meticulously crafted and refined, from the decor to the warm welcome and the delicious food. The staff is exceptionally kind. A charming fountain has just been added to the outdoor terrace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere as soon as you step inside. Many thanks to the team!

The portions are generous, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Special mention for the speed of service: despite the crowd, we were served quickly and with great care. The staff is lovely, smiling, and very professional. And above all, a big thank you to the owner, who is particularly kind and welcoming. You really feel at home in this restaurant, with its warm and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it! An address I'll treasure and where I'll return with great pleasure. ❤️

04/09/2026: I ordered for the first time last night; I got takeout. The service was excellent, everyone was so attentive, which was a real bonus since I'm pregnant. Then I ordered the royal couscous, and it was a 10/10! The portion was very generous, and everything was delicious. Since I don't like raisins, they added chickpeas, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back, and the value for money is incredible. €23 seems very reasonable, especially considering I didn't finish it all at once. Thank you again for everything.

We were seated at the wrong table before the rest of the guests arrived 😏👎 The service was difficult 😏👎 because the only waiter was overwhelmed due to an unexpected absence of colleagues. The owner was alone in the kitchen because the kitchen staff were also unexpectedly absent 😏. We ordered tagine but no bread 😯 The baker was on vacation, but there was no alternative 👎 😠 Otherwise, the food was good 😋👍 The atmosphere was typically Tunisian, but the entrance and decor are starting to show their age. The mint tea was pleasant 😋 but I've had better.
