14/09/2026: I came to eat with my daughter at Les Santons in La Turbie, and we were pleasantly surprised. The cuisine is refined; try the grilled octopus with a wonderfully delicate risotto—it's absolutely delicious. Or the perfectly cooked shoulder of lamb. I'll be back to try the brazier cooking, as promised. The setting is very pleasant, and the service is excellent. A big thank you to Jade for her warm welcome and kindness. Thank you.

31/08/2026: Appalling service from the waiters We arrived as a group of three on Sunday evening, August 30th. I mentioned that I had reserved a table for three under my name. The tall, bespectacled waiter couldn't find my name on the list, so I decided to help him by indicating it on his device. He replied, "Yeah, it's fine, I saw your name. I have eyes and glasses just like you!" (It's clearly time he started using them!). We were seated, but we weren't given a menu or offered any drinks. The same waiter came back to us and presented the Sunday Brasero menu, but my two friends wanted pizza because they had seen it on the website. So I asked for the menu for them (…they should have asked for it!), which he then proceeded to hand open to each of us, except for me, whose closed menu he tossed onto the corner of the table (a truly childish personal attack, just like your comments, which I could do without!). To top it all off, we overheard another bald, bespectacled waiter speaking rudely to a table behind us, again criticizing the fact that "they hadn't SEEN that it was the Brasero menu." (It seems it's always the less fortunate who dare to criticize others' eyesight!). Decision made: we won't give a single cent to such contempt and lack of consideration! (I think it's because we were a group of young locals and not a group of wealthy retired tourists, and they therefore feel entitled to assume we're inferior to them). A zero in everything, even the food, not because it's as bad as the service, but because the waiters are so bad that they dissuaded us from prolonging the catastrophic experience!
