27/06/2024: I would not dream of leaving anything other than a five-star review at a place where I have not eaten. The place is gorgeously decorated, the setting magnificent and the food looks sensational. I am only leaving the review to warn any Anglo-Saxons reading this that, although signposted everywhere, the restaurant adheres to bizarrely stringent opening hours, even by French standards, which is slightly irksome when you have just driven 15 miles up steep and winding roads to get there. You might assume that a creperie would be open into the afternoon, as in Britanny. This one isn't. We pitched up for lunch slightly before 2pm. No dice. It's their restaurant, and they are free to open and close whenever they like. I am just writing this so you aren't disappointed as we were.

Peu goûteuses G.charcutiére : andouille guemené, oeuf bio, comté, sauce moutarde : très bon Desserts : Crêpe provence : glace fleur oranger, pignons, sorbet mandarine, pralin maison, amandes effilées et miel de lavande : très bon C. 05/07/2024: The 3-course lunch has a high truffle content, but there is no advantage in terms of price. After all, it is truffle. The taste is delicious and the service is good. Worth showing up on your travels.

29/06/2024: Une adresse à ne pas louper sur Cannes : une vraie cuisine italienne des pâtes cuites à la perfection, de très bons conseils ! Et je remercie Joris pour son professionnalisme, transparence, je n'ai jamais vu un serveur comme ça et il n'y a pas besoin de carte car c'est lui qui la représente ! Merci pour ce bon moment.

29/06/2024: A perfect restaurant on every level. Whether in terms of service, quality of dishes or wines. Today I went back there for the second time, thinking it couldn't be better than the first time. And yet, they did even better! The gnocchi are homemade and the sauces that accompany them are exceptional. Additionally, the truffle supplement is extremely generous. They grate a truffle 6 centimeters in diameter and grate half of it on your dish before your eyes. The wines offered are excellent. The grilled fish are also well prepared. I feel like there aren't any bad choices on their menu. I thank the whole team and particularly Charly.

27/06/2024: Very very good nicoise cantine in the city center. It’s very authentic, food is delicious, service is friendly; what else you would need 😅 We ate a quite a lot for two people as you can see in the pictures but we enjoyed everything. Best croque monsieur I had in Nice. The other dish we had was le truite fume , very good combination of cold mezes/tapas, was tasty. Nicoise salad was also really good! Highly recommended place!

24/05/2024: Hors du circuit touristique, sur une petite rue charmante, se trouve ce restaurant tenu par un couple qui nous offre un menu du jour toujours savoureux. La carte est simple, mais tout y est délicieux. À chacune de nos visites à Nice, nous y passons un bon moment en compagnie des habitués de ce lieu et nous n’avons jamais été déçus depuis des années. Ne manquer pas le généreux café gourmand et le nougat glacé.

24/03/2024: Easily one of the best restaurants I have had in France so far! It was our last night in nice and the manager made an exception to host us and the experience was completely outstanding. We started with the parsley cream soup and the escargots. The parsley soup was light yet flavourful by itself but the depth of the flavours was enhanced by the poached egg. The escargots were presented in a crunchy crust with a garlicky sauce that complemented perfectly in terms of texture and flavour. For the mains we ordered the swordfish, the pork rib and the veal. I tried my friend’s swordfish and the sauce was truly an interesting combination that was zesty and refreshing which worked remarkably well with the swordfish! My friend appreciated the sides a lot. My wife took the veal which was very interesting in terms of flavour but was pretty ok in terms of the palette (as it seemed like an Asian spring roll with beef). For me I took the pork rib which was very well roasted and the cognac sauce was a perfect complement to the pork rib. For the end we finished with the highlight of the meal - the chef’s delirium as commented by everyone else. The chef’s delirium looked very exquisite and the flavours were layered which unfolded as you consume the dish. (This part I leave unexplained to not spoil the surprise). Not so sure I might come to nice again but if I do I will definitely come again! PS: Photos do not do the food justice

26/06/2024: Un vrai délice ! Nous avons passé une excellente soirée a la tartane. La cuisine est savoureuse, les plats sont joliment présentés et le service est impeccable. L’ambiance cosy et la décoration soignée ajoutent une touche de charme à ce lieu. Je recommande vivement !

15/07/2024: Je viens depuis des années à Roquebrune Quelle belle découverte Cette petite place pavée dans une ruelle de la vieille ville est super accueillante A l’ombre ce qui est très appréciable Et la cuisine italienne est excellente Nous sommes ravis de notre repas Nous recommandons VIVEMENT !!!!!!

14/06/2024: Parking along the road, dogs welcome. Don’t rely on the word “tapas” to make too hasty a judgment. It’s succulent, fresh, prepared with very good products. Blindly, it would be confused with a higher end restaurant. They aren't picky about quantities either. Nice wine list at fair prices too. If you can get a table on the terrace, the view is quite nice. In short, unbeatable quality - quantity - price ratio.

13/05/2024: We have lunch every season in this gourmet restaurant. The welcome is always so warm, the setting very pleasant and the cuisine delicious. We will certainly try the musical evenings soon.
