21/08/2026: Absolutely avoid! I first went to La Régence in La Turbie about a year ago, on an invitation. Unfortunately, I went back this week, only because a friend wanted to chat quietly in a quiet place. And we certainly got what we asked for: there was practically no one there, apart from a few regulars who were mainly there to drink. Let me be perfectly clear: in my opinion, this establishment absolutely does not deserve to be called a restaurant. The place gave me an impression of being outdated, poorly maintained, and having an unhealthy atmosphere. Even the desire to go in is dilapidated. On the semi-enclosed terrace, between the regulars, dogs, and even a stroller, it was frankly chaotic and unpleasant. As for the food, it's simply unbelievable: only two dishes on the menu: wood-fired pizza or grilled chicken. No appetizers, no desserts. I very clearly asked the waiter if the pizza was actually homemade, especially the dough. He confirmed that yes, it was homemade dough and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The result after about a 20-minute wait: a huge disappointment. The dough was, in my opinion, clearly undercooked, with an unpleasant texture and so thin that the slice was practically indestructible. The attached photos speak for themselves. My friend ordered a chicken leg, served with just a few salad leaves, without any real side dish or sauce. A plate of disconcerting simplicity and meagerness. The service and the staff's demeanor did little to reassure me about the establishment's professionalism. The overall impression was one of carelessness and a lack of professionalism. In short: a disastrous experience from beginning to end. Atmosphere, condition of the premises, service, and food: nothing made me want to return. Personally, I will never set foot in that place again, and I strongly advise against it for anyone seeking even a modicum of quality, choice, and professionalism. Avoid it at all costs.

06/08/2026: The service at the tobacconist was very unpleasant; he refused to serve me for no reason, perhaps because of my tan... I do not recommend this type of shopkeeper.
