28/06/2026: Two days in a row over a weekend (one evening and one lunchtime), the kitchen was closed an hour early, even though the restaurant is listed as "open" on Google. The reception staff were extremely unfriendly (we waited 15 minutes yesterday without anyone to greet us, and were immediately shown the door) and explained that "it's hot, so the kitchen is closed"—which is understandable, of course—but they should have indicated this online. Furthermore, cold dishes are still available, as listed on the menu. In addition, all the restaurants in the area continued cooking in the same heat; a neighboring Italian restaurant even reopened its kitchen for us after closing time, also in the same sweltering heat. We had walked for an hour to the restaurant both times… Disappointing.

27/05/2026: A wonderful discovery at Sud Agadir restaurant! I had the lamb and my father had the merguez sausages: the meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the cooking. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A big thank you also to the manager, who is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very funny. He immediately puts you at ease and clearly contributes to the enjoyable experience you have at the restaurant. It's a pleasure to experience such a genuine and friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end. I highly recommend it and we will gladly return! 😊

From the moment you step inside, you're transported: the decor is a true Moroccan immersion, warm and refined, immediately setting the stage for a wonderful evening. On the plate, it's a pure delight from appetizer to dessert, with authentic flavors and exquisitely delicate cuisine. The real highlight of the evening was the waiter's humor; his quick wit and self-deprecating humor added a touch of magic to the meal. 18/06/2026: My friend and I went there on Friday, June 12th at 1:30 pm and they welcomed us. We started with a small appetizer full of delicious flavors. Then we had couscous with a unique taste. Thank you for your welcome and service. You're the best, I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: This restaurant is completely uninteresting. For our aperitif, we were served potatoes and carrots that smelled and tasted off. The vegetable couscous was tasteless and so meager it was almost comical! Everything about it is the antithesis of the generosity of Moroccan cuisine: a few meager vegetables swimming in a bland broth, very little semolina, hardly any harissa, one small bread roll for three people… and prices far exceeding what they deserve. My worst Moroccan restaurant ever.

02/06/2026: A really dreary restaurant, the wait for a table was far too long, and my sole was just so-so. Very disappointed; Pedra Alta has gone downhill.

01/06/2026: Good evening, an experience not to be repeated at this Pedra Alta. They were clearly understaffed to handle the very large number of customers. There was a mistake with the orders between the two dining rooms. Children under 10 were served last, even though we had clearly indicated that they should bring their shared dish before the adults', to allow time for aperitifs. The aperitif was missing and never arrived. The mussel dishes smelled bad and were sent back twice, only to be left uneaten and then sent back permanently. We waited almost three hours to be served. Many customers were dissatisfied and complained to the staff, who were powerless to help. We requested that the manager come to our table to explain the situation, but he never came. We asked for bandages for one of the children, and I was told they didn't have any, so I had to go to the hotel next door to ask for them. UNACCEPTABLE and INADMISSIBLE this experience is far from what it was in the past at this same place.

18/05/2026: A warm welcome from this Moroccan restaurant transports you to Morocco. The service is so inviting, it evokes the feeling of being there on a Friday night. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The lighting is a perfect 10/10 – truly a delight! I highly recommend going! 🇲🇦❤️❤️❤️

27/12/2025: We returned after a long boycott following a disastrous experience a few months ago. What can I say? We would have been better off staying away. We ordered a children's menu: shakshuka and chicken tagine. The supposedly amazing chicken tagine was disgusting; the chicken was cold while the sauce and the tagine itself were piping hot. I pointed this out to the waiter, who replaced the dish after a very long wait. To my great surprise, the chicken was still cold, so I put it aside. Furthermore, the baguette served had been reheated on a grill or in an oven and was served toasted and as hard as a cracker—unbelievable, especially considering there's a bakery right across the street! We won't be returning this time; our minds are made up. When it came time to pay, the waiter was genuinely sorry, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough!
