20/04/2026: We had a wonderful culinary evening in a warm and inviting setting. The spacing between tables was very pleasant, and the round tables were ideal for six people.
The cuisine was refined and a welcome change from the ordinary. The only drawback was the limited menu, aside from the vegetarian option. While the restaurant manager did explain this, an additional dish would have been appreciated, especially if we plan to return.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to discover Chartres, a beautifully presented historic city.

The chicken and meat tagine was too salty for my taste, very pretty 👍 but too dry, no sauce. They need to improve that, but after that, everything was fine 😉.
However, something bothered me: the portion of homemade bread was reheated. The bread was very dry, and it wasn't even fresh. It smelled like bread that was at least two or three days old. Ideally, they should tell customers they're out of bread.
But I still recommend people go and eat there; it's quite pleasant.
I'm not criticizing, just suggesting improvements.

06/02/2026: I'm writing this comment because there's blatant favoritism towards women at the kebab shop. Last time I wanted to order, they told me to sit down, and then a woman came and took her order directly. And I'm not even mentioning the difference in quantity...

24/03/2024: Restaurant with buffet for starters and lots of choice and very professional service. Huge inside, almost full every lunchtime, the only downside is parking, including in the car park a little further up.
22/02/2024: Finally a restaurant where for lunch you can be served quickly with a choice of homemade dishes and vegetables as well as desserts... In this restaurant there is a good flow, so the meat is tender and excellent with a little homemade sauce, the salad buffet is not to be outdone accompanied by its homemade mayonnaise, cold meats (crusted dough, sausage, smoked ham etc.) obviously with its bowl of pickles and mimosa eggs, tomato salad, beets, carrots, potatoes , the smoked salmon trimmings will delight you.. you can go there with your eyes closed, the staff is young and friendly and the owner is a sweetheart, she will be able to advise you... Enjoy your meal.
