28/09/2026: A truly perfect evening at Nova – highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Nova and would like to express our sincere gratitude for the fantastic hospitality. Upon entering, we received an extremely warm welcome. Communication in English was also completely seamless and incredibly friendly – ​​we immediately felt at ease. The atmosphere is simply wonderful: very lounge-like, cozy, and comfortable. A place where you'll want to linger. The culinary experience was an absolute highlight: The wine: We started with an excellent red wine that perfectly complemented the food. The main course: The Angus beef was cooked to a perfect medium – incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. A huge compliment to the chef! Whoever owns this chef: never let him go, he simply must never be fired! The side dishes: On the one hand, there were wonderfully aromatic rosemary potatoes, and on the other, a creamy Parmesan risotto with fresh chanterelle mushrooms. A fantastic combination with absolutely first-class taste. The bread: Even the baguette served beforehand deserves special mention – truly fresh and delicious. The price-performance ratio is 100% fair for the outstanding quality offered here. Conclusion: A thoroughly enjoyable evening that we won't soon forget. We will definitely be back and give it our highest recommendation!

18/10/2026: We came by chance with my husband, son, and daughter-in-law. We obviously hadn't booked, but after waiting a little while, we got a table. Honestly, the welcome was super friendly. The meal was delicious! 😋 My husband and I ordered dessert for two. The waitress arrived with two slices and offered us the second one free. We have absolutely no complaints about their kindness. Bravo! From four charmed Basques.

14/09/2026: The fish soup was very thin, the main courses were decent but nothing special. The welcome and service were pleasant.

10/09/2026: Avoid this place. An endless wait for poorly cooked food. My partner ordered mussels that weren't cleaned… I ordered a potato salad that arrived without potatoes and with dirt mixed in with the lettuce. I came to this restaurant because it was recommended by the Rough Guide; it was clearly a mistake!

02/09/2026: Came here needing a quick lunch before our boat trip to Cap Corse. The waiter was absolutely delightful speaking to me in French even though mine is pretty dreadful, I think they were appreciative that I was trying more than anything. We sat outside on the terrasse and whilst there was some sun encroaching onto the table the waiter was kind enough to extend the awning further so we could be fully in the shade. We ordered some beer and sparkling water for drinks and for mains, we got the chicken penne salad, the corsican salad and the tarte du jour (which was corsican cheese and vegetable). The food arrived pretty quick and was mostly delicious, especially the cheese used in the corsican salad, wow!! I would love to know the cheese they used as it was the thing the went quickest on the plate. The chicken salad was nice but maybe a bit too much pasta, which needed some more seasoning because when I got to the pasta it tasted quite plain but didn't ruin the dish at all. The tarte was the highlight for us, firstly the portion size was huge, the pastry was incredible and the filling was exceptional. Nothing was bad about the tarte, probably one of the best we've had! Overall, a lovely little eatery in the heart of Bastia which I would highly recommend if you're in the area.
