13/08/2026: Excellent Lebanese takeout in Bonatrait. We were already familiar with Kessak restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains, which we love, and decided to have Lebanese food at home tonight. They answered the phone and took our order quickly and efficiently. The food arrived right on time. When we got home, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions were generous and the dishes were truly excellent. We highly recommend them.

22/06/2026: I've been a customer for a very long time. Unfortunately, it had been several months since I'd been able to come during opening hours. I bought a royal couscous to take away. After a few misunderstandings with the owner and the completely overwhelmed employee... everything turned out fine. 😅 Especially since a lovely customer treated me to my meal and aperitif when he paid his bill. Thank you, Adrien, I'll come eat at your restaurant soon. 😇

03/08/2026: Short : A Beautiful Lakeside Gem Worth Visiting. On the expensive side so do not expect to come with a budget. Fish is amazing. Detailed : Auberge du Roselet is one of those places where the setting alone makes the visit worthwhile. Perched right on the shores of Lake Annecy, it offers a beautiful lakeside atmosphere with a proper pier/beach area where you can even take a swim before or after your meal. The outdoor seating is exceptional, and if you’re lucky enough to get a table right by the water, the views are absolutely stunning. There’s also ample parking, which makes visiting very convenient. We arrived during a sudden rainstorm without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff were kind enough to accommodate the four of us. We really appreciated that, especially considering we only ordered one entrée and three drinks while waiting out the weather. That level of hospitality didn’t go unnoticed. The only area that could use a little improvement is communication with English-speaking guests. While everyone was courteous overall, a bit more warmth and ease in interacting with non-French speakers would make the experience even better for international visitors. Overall, this is a wonderful lakeside restaurant with an unbeatable location, great ambience, and thoughtful service. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re hoping to secure one of the coveted tables right on the lake.

14/05/2026: A very pleasant lunch with quality products and cuisine. We had fried fish as an appetizer, then Arctic char and dessert with beautiful strawberries.

20/08/2026: We used to have lunch there in a place that combined friendliness and a family atmosphere, but everything has deteriorated: the food, the dishes, and the service (no water or bread, you have to ask). It's very sad, but they've lost two customers today.

19/08/2026: We came here for dinner and ordered a jug of red wine, a king prawn risotto, and three pizzas. Unfortunately, our experience started badly with the wine. The first jug had a thin layer of white foam on top and tasted awful, as if it had been sitting out since lunchtime. We asked for a replacement, and thankfully the second jug was much better. The wine glasses were also visibly unclean, which did little to inspire confidence in the restaurant's hygiene standards. Things got worse with the king prawn risotto. When I tasted one of the prawns, it had a strong ammonia taste and smell, which is a clear sign that seafood has gone bad. I couldn't believe it at first, so I tried another bite and immediately felt sick. The prawns were clearly spoiled. We informed the waiter and asked him to smell the risotto himself. He took it away and later returned to apologise, which we appreciated. However, when the owner or manager came to collect the dishes, he didn't acknowledge the issue, apologise, or even make eye contact. Instead, he appeared annoyed and pulled a face, which was both unprofessional and dismissive. I've never been served seafood in such a condition before. This wasn't a matter of it being less than fresh; it was spoiled. Having already eaten a couple of bites, I was genuinely concerned about getting food poisoning. To be fair, the pizzas were very good and were easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, serving spoiled seafood, poor hygiene with the wine and glasses, and the manager's attitude completely overshadowed the positives. This is simply not acceptable, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend the restaurant.
