Le Grizzly sur Chatel

A lovely little restaurant at the resort where we received a very warm welcome. We were a table of five and had our two large dogs with us (thank you for the water and treats!). The portions were generous, the presentation beautiful, and the food perfectly cooked. It definitely deserves 5 stars. Thank you again for the wonderful meal.

A very pleasant stop at the Grizzli in Châtel for a drink and an aperitif in the early evening. The cheese board was delicious! The welcome was perfect, the staff attentive, and the owner's smile and helpfulness were very pleasant! We will be back!

Excellent place. Extremely friendly service. Savoyard specialties were superb. We returned once more during our vacation, and both times we were offered a complimentary genepi liqueur or something similar—a very kind and much-appreciated gesture. Furthermore, we were able to take refuge in the bar inside before leaving during a particularly heavy thunderstorm, even though we had finished and paid for our meal.

For our 26th wedding anniversary, we received a warm and friendly welcome. The food was delicious; their blueberry cheesecake was a real treat. Thank you again for the wonderful memories you gave us on this special day.

A hearty and delicious meal. The menu features traditional dishes from the Abondance Valley, made with flavorful cheeses. The staff is charming and welcoming. The dog received a bowl of water and a treat. Thank you for him.

Excellent regional dishes, we also appreciated the atmosphere and the service. Our large dog had his bowl of water. And the Berthoud cheese was good and not at all greasy. A place to recommend.

A Berthoud and a Crozi cheese were a real treat for us, and when you say a Berthoud is swimming in oil, it's perfectly normal—it's cooked cheese with fat—but it was so delicious! The accompanying charcuterie was an exceptional selection, bursting with flavor. The service was a little slow, but everyone was lovely. Thank you for this moment that made our vacation even better; it's priceless, like a smile—it's free. And you'll find all of this at the Grizzly.

A fantastic restaurant in Châtel! The food is top-notch, showcasing local produce beautifully. The service is also excellent: the entire team is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special mention for the Berthoud, a must-try if you're in the area! One small drawback: there was a bit of a wait for the croziflettes that evening. However, the restaurant showed a very kind gesture by offering a complimentary génépi liqueur at the end of the meal, which more than made up for the slight delay. Overall, an excellent experience; I highly recommend it!
