13/08/2026: A fantastic find! The meal was absolutely delicious, the €29 set menu was incredibly generous, the owner was fantastic and super friendly. And to top it all off, they offered us a complimentary vodka.
13/08/2026: You absolutely must go to Tchoutchoura, first and foremost to tantalize your taste buds and then to be pampered.
A must-visit: a restaurateur who takes exceptional care of his guests, succulent, flavorful, and generous portions; and all this at a reasonable price 🫶 🫶🫶

Superb welcome, truly impeccable service, warm staff, and divine cuisine! A little trip to Lebanon right in the heart of Grenoble, truly refreshing. Very good value for money, and the flavors were spot on, I highly recommend it! 🌸

30/07/2026: An exceptional place, which I've been frequenting for almost 15 years, and which remains just as remarkable over the years.
The Damascus BBQ offers authentic Syrian cuisine, generous and full of flavor. The meats cooked over charcoal are simply excellent: tender, perfectly prepared, and with that unique taste that makes all the difference.
Beyond the quality of the food, it's also the warm welcome and the personal touch that make this establishment so special. The people who run it are truly wonderful, warm, passionate, and always attentive to their customers. After all these years, the pleasure is still the same. A real gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of good food and memorable encounters.

12/08/2026: A warm and friendly welcome. A small menu, but something for everyone. A good wine list. Delicious and generous cuisine from appetizer to dessert. Reasonable prices. Top-notch. An address to remember.
06/08/2026: Fantastic value for money. The menu is rather limited, but features very tasty, balanced dishes.
All the different dishes we ate were delicious. My daughter had the mackerel as a starter. We had the beef fillet with thyme and the poultry ballotine with morels as main courses. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, the millefeuille, and the chocolate mousse. Cold tap water is included for free. My husband had a nice glass of red wine (something with Fleur de Syrahne) and I had a delicious bottle of Ginger Beer.
After dessert, we also had a tasty espresso macchiato (café noisette).
All together for barely €40 per person (so including drinks).
If we are ever in Grenoble again, we would love to go back!

21/06/2026: The couscous is good and simple. The pastries are delicious. The mint tea is the perfect finishing touch. A lovely Tunisian atmosphere in a small restaurant.
The only things missing to make it perfect are Kaak Warka and grouper couscous.
A place that doesn't disappoint.
09/06/2026: Went here on a whim, not knowing what to expect- no one in our party had ever tried Tunisian food! This will definitely not be our last time enjoying Tunisian cuisine. The meats were tender and flavorful, not overcooked, the veggies were fresh and seasoned wonderfully. The employees were very helpful and patient, as we speak not a word of French. The interior is warm and cozy and decorated beautifully. A wonderful place to get a nutritious, filling meal!

04/07/2026: It's a shame, though, that this Berber palace, located on the holiday route, is very poorly signposted, and there's not much choice at lunchtime. The dining room is splendid, and the staff are courteous. I think you need to book in advance.

13/05/2026: Had a very tasty paella and was assured it was gluten free. Chairs not so comfy.
09/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. We went expecting quality Spanish tapas, but it was the complete opposite. We ordered croquettes, a Spanish omelet, and calamari, and frankly, nothing made sense.
The omelet didn't resemble a Spanish omelet at all: boiled potatoes with skin on and egg on top, like it had been reheated and fried. The croquettes were burnt, and the calamari had more batter than actual calamari. Everything tasted like reheated food, prepared without any care.
The worst part was when we commented that the omelet was terrible, and they told us it had been made at 4 PM. Honestly, saying that doesn't excuse anything; it only confirms the lack of quality and freshness.
I don't understand how this place has such a high rating because the experience was truly awful. If you're looking for authentic Spanish food, this isn't the place.

07/08/2026: I've been eating at this snack bar occasionally for years. The quality of the sandwiches has really gone downhill! The "taouk" meal costs around €11 for a sandwich containing barely three pieces of marinated taouk (with who-knows-what – we thought curry, given the color and taste), lettuce leaves that looked several days old, a small tray of tasteless fries, and a bottle of water. We won't be going back, which is a shame. What's more, the owner was entertaining his friend, and they were chatting loudly as if they were in their living room... there's absolutely no point in going there.
23/07/2026: Excellent! Lots of good Lebanese specialties with a wide selection and very attractive prices.
