A great place to eat delicious, homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable! A perfect spot for food lovers! The dishes could use a touch more seasoning to reach perfection (especially the side dishes).

The restaurant has a small menu and offers set meal of starters, mains and dessert. The food is decadent and of good portion size. Ordered the tuna tartare, octopus (their specialty) and creme brulee. The tuna is served with pomegranate seeds and beetroot chunks, with a beetroot puree and a squeeze of horseradish-like sauce for a light punch. The octopus looks grilled or finished with a deep fry and served with root veggies. The meat was not chewy and has a nice bite to it, almost like chicken but without the muscle fibres. The tentacles tips are charred and crispy, contrasting with the meat. The creme brulee is finished with orange peel chunks in syrup and probably mixed with orange liqueur. A nice finish to the meal. The only downside I could find is the dry bread, which was kinda stale.

The waiter with the black/brain horses was adorable; if I remember correctly, his name was Cyriak. Highly recommended! 🙌🏼👌🏼

The food was decent, but nothing special, especially considering the price. The decor is very basic, the dining room is noisy, and they used the same cutlery for both the appetizer and the main course... The foie gras lacked finesse, and the lamb shank had a very strong flavor; it almost felt like we were in a barn 😅. We did, however, appreciate the potato crisp, which was a nice touch. To make matters worse, our main courses took almost 45 minutes to arrive, while other tables (who had arrived after us) were already having dessert. The staff apologized, but then came back to ask us again what desserts we had ordered (which themselves took a while to arrive; we were the last ones in the restaurant). And there was no gesture of goodwill when it came time to pay. In short, this might be acceptable for a brasserie, but not for a "gastronomic restaurant" as advertised on their Instagram account. We won't be back...

A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely setting and superbly prepared and delicious dishes. Special mention for the octopus, which brought back memories of holidays.

Fantastic discovery March 2026 • Couple A wonderful experience at the Une Semaine Sur Deux restaurant in Grenoble! Honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. The octopus was incredible: perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and well-seasoned... a true delight. And the lamb shank, well... melt-in-your-mouth tender, flavorful, and bursting with taste. You can tell the ingredients are carefully selected and the cooking is done with passion. Warm atmosphere, top-notch service, nothing to complain about. You can tell this is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. We'll definitely be back.
