15/05/2026: We discovered Les Hammadites and frankly, what a wonderful surprise! I had the merguez couscous, my wife had the kefta tagine, and the girls had vegetarian couscous: everything was excellent, generous, and full of flavor. You can tell the food is made with care and passion. The restaurant has been taken over by two truly kind, welcoming, and very helpful brothers. They sincerely deserve to have many customers, because these days it's rare to find a place where the quality of service is on the same level as the food. A warm, friendly, and delicious place that we recommend without hesitation!

07/06/2026: Very disappointed. The couscous was bland and the sauce tasteless. Furthermore, they led us to believe two merguez sausages were included, but they were ultimately added to the bill. I find that truly dishonest.

26/06/2026: An excellent restaurant in Douai. We had a wonderful time at this establishment, where the welcome was warm and the setting truly unique. The meal was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. I particularly enjoyed the chicken, which was tender and beautifully presented on a thoughtfully decorated plate. The service was attentive, especially when the mint tea was served in the traditional way. A great find that I highly recommend.

The kefta: An absolute favorite, flavorful and perfectly spiced. The Tunisian pastries: Simply the best! They are flavorful, fragrant, delicate, and incredibly fresh. 🫖 A ritual not to be missed The restaurant is open almost every day, and it's become my little routine whenever I'm on this street. My favorite moment? Savoring their delicious traditional mint tea, accompanied by an assortment of their wonderful little cakes in a variety of flavors. It's the perfect moment to share with friends. 15/05/2026: Excellent food. The couscous is the best in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. We travel from the Calais area despite the price of petrol.
