16/04/2026: A small, unpretentious restaurant in the market hall. The veal axoa was decent and quite generous.
The only real downside, besides the fact they don't accept menus, is the steep price.
Sure, it's Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the market hall, but €65 for a glass of white wine, a pitcher of cider, oysters, a ribeye steak, and a veal axoa is a bit steep for a typical little bistro.
13/04/2026: While visiting the market hall on market day, we immediately spotted this establishment, which stood out for its location and decor. The menus immediately appealed to us. A warm welcome, impeccable service, a very intimate and authentic dining room… that's what we loved. The dishes were flawless, and the cider… 👌.
We highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The menu was truly local, and we loved it. The portions were generous and delicious.
A truly excellent restaurant; from the authentic local decor to the food itself, everything was superb... Not to mention the very reasonable price, which was in line with the average.
In any case, I highly recommend this place for enjoying local cuisine in a lovely setting.
08/04/2026: The food was very average compared to 5 years ago when it was excellent. The bavette steak and minced steak, ordered rare, arrived overcooked, and the portion sizes were very small.
