17/03/2024: What a good table! Fine dishes and very well crafted dishes. Attentive service and welcome. Lovely warm room with beautiful crockery. You cross the vegetable garden before entering the restaurant. I recommend.

19/02/2024: Really cannot be missed if you are visiting and especially if you live in the area. Truly a dining experience where you can appreciate authentic hospitality and charm of the region with elegant dishes in an unassuming garden home setting. It is run by an adorable couple, wife in the kitchen, husband front of the house and they take care to procure local seasonal products. Update 19 Feb 24: I’m lowering my rating from 5 to 4. It pains me to do this because it was a favorite of ours but our last visit the quality of preparation and presentation really diminished. The hosts are still lovely people but I feel like we are at a completely different restaurant then all the other times we’d been before.

26/03/2024: We went there with my partner without knowing anything. Address found using Google. Since Tautavel is a village that I love for its natural setting, we decided on this restaurant. I apparently did well to book because several customers were turned away because they were full on a Sunday lunchtime. Victim of his own success. The room is charming and decorated in an original way. The terrace looked nice. The cuisine is excellent and the service very pleasant. The only downside is the lack of transparency on prices. Taking orders on the fly for the aperitif (without a card and therefore without a price), the same for wine, coffee and the aioli supplement (perhaps free... or not?!). When paying the bill, no details were offered and I didn't think to ask for it in the conversation either. So the two of us got it for €110 without knowing the details. Apart from this detail I recommend this charming restaurant

20/02/2024: Hummmmmmmmmmm! The delicious and hearty brunches at La Cour du Baron! In a warm decor and welcome. Savory, sweet dishes, hot and cold drinks (juice extractor), there is something for everyone.
