23/08/2024: I allow myself to put a (bad) opinion which I very rarely do. The manager is very unpleasant, I wanted to sit for two minutes on a chair on the terrace because I injured my foot. The manager yells at me, without even saying hello so I can leave the terrace, then asks me if it would bother me if she came to “squat” at my place if she had a stomach ache… Completely off topic. I do not recommend this establishment at all.

20/08/2024: Thanks to Zeki for his welcome. This is the 3rd time we have come, the roast potatoes served with each dish remind us of our grandmother's. Cooking meats over an incredible wood fire with exceptional taste. Don't trust your first impression, but go there to experience a pleasant time with friends or family.

10/06/2024: Als letzte Station vor der Heimfahrt halte ich in Nancy. Diesmal habe ich das "Racine" ausgesucht. Es liegt unweit der schönen Place Stanislas und ist nett eingerichtet. Der Gruß aus der Küche kommt mir gerade recht, denn ich mag rote Bete: Rote Bete Humus auf rote Bete Cracker. Vorspeise: Seehecht Carpaccio mit einer schmackhaften Vinaigrette. Hauptgang: Ravioli mit Ziegenkäsefüllung und etwas Spargel. zusätzlich: eine Käseauswahl - und die ist besonders gut! Das Dessert enthält Rhabarber, den ich normalerweise gerne mag. Hier ist er aber etwas zu "naturbelassen" für meinen Geschmack und hat keine Verbindung zu der Creme. Das ist der einzige Nachteil. Der Service ist leider nicht sehr aufmerksam. 3 Personen "wuseln" durch das Restaurant. Drinnen und draußen gibt es genug zu tun. Dennoch hätte ich mir etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht. - Und vielleicht könnte man die Gläserauswahl erweitern, denn mein Calvados zum Abschluss kommt in einem Wasserglas.

Here we come close to a nightmare in the kitchen, the so-called "beef fillet" is in fact a piece of inedible beef fat, we don't even ask you for the cooking, no one knows what the sauce is, As accompaniment required, the back garden could be so pleasant if it were clean and tidy. In short, can't wait for the next owner because this premises would have real potential just a stone's throw from the station, a few months ago it was so much better, we hope they get their act together.

29/07/2024: My wife and I had lunch there by chance on Saturday July 27 at 1 p.m. during a romantic weekend in Nancy. The concept really appealed to us, we who love Italian cuisine. The welcome and service were good. The two of us ate a large plate with green salad and tomatoes, Burrata and ham and had enough bread (I say this because obviously the lack of bread is recurrent in many reviews). From 4 p.m. we started to feel unwell and spent our Saturday evening at the hotel instead of the romantic evening initially planned and due to our weak physical condition we returned early on Sunday. We suspect food poisoning but do not have absolute proof during these times of gastro epidemic. So, when in doubt, we still give it a 3/5 because we liked the concept and the team was nice, but we still recommend that the establishment check internally if all the products comply with health standards. .
