Les meilleurs restaurants en Lorient

17/06/2025: We arrived with 7 instructions that we wanted to have taken into account, as we do every time to release the cart. Two people refused, claiming they had to keep them with us until checkout, in an unfriendly tone. I nevertheless left the instructions in full view of the people involved, and when we went to the checkout, one of the people present when we arrived claimed that he hadn't seen our instructions and couldn't take them into account. In addition to being dishonest and a liar, this person is rude and has a serious problem with zeal. Fortunately, the majority of the staff are friendly at this establishment, which we have frequented regularly for a very long time. Furthermore, we could return the instructions without shopping. How would you do that in that case? What is the procedure?

03/08/2025: Seven of us went. The dishes were too greasy, and some were undercooked. The service was consistently forgetful, and then a manager forced the bill to be split to suit him.

21/09/2025: An experience not to be missed! The dishes, flavorful and subtly spiced, awaken the taste buds and leave no room for blandness. The careful presentation also makes them a real feast for the eyes. The portions are generous: the value for money is excellent. But what makes this place truly unique are the managers, whose kindness and thoughtfulness are exceptional. Each time they visit, they demonstrate remarkable warmth and hospitality. I highly recommend this place: your taste buds, as well as your budget, will be delighted!

09/10/2025: I discovered this brasserie a few years ago, completely by chance, one day when my tablet's battery was running low—a real problem for my workday! While I was having a coffee, the staff very kindly offered to recharge it. This small gesture impressed me with their kindness and sense of service. Since then, I've been back every time I'm in the center of Lorient: always a warm welcome, a warm atmosphere, and a real pleasure every time. A truly wonderful Lorient institution that I recommend without hesitation!

05/09/2024: Repas en famille (7 personnes) en soirée en semaine. Bon accueil. Qualité correcte. Par contre, un peu radin sur le confort : installer trois adultes sur une petite table alors que le resto avait de la place... C'est limite.

17/12/2024: 9€ the sandwich menu + fries drinks...because the can is extra at 2€ and the sandwich at 7€, vegetables almost non-existent in the sandwich, no sauce either, bread ok but dry, the meat is good cooked is the only good point. The falafels are not homemade and only taste like fried foods. It's really limit for the price.

14/12/2024: basic quality, they don't make their own pins. When you arrive, no one says hello to you anyway otherwise I have never seen so many people in a kebab, respect to the young waiter who is all alone he is the boss (apart from him they are not made for catering briefff)

08/12/2025: We had booked a table for two for a birthday, but the establishment doesn't serve alcohol. Anyway, we probably wouldn't have stayed; there was nobody in the restaurant, and every time we drive by, it's always empty. Not to mention the delivery motorcycles driving around even though the restaurant is closed. In short, bizarre.

06/07/2025: Papy Joe in Lorient: a huge disappointment, even as a takeout. I had fond memories of this restaurant, but this takeout order really put me off. The burger was bland, uninteresting, a far cry from the delicious recipes of yesteryear. The fries? Reheated leftovers, hard as cardboard, despite a cheddar sauce meant to enhance the flavor. The most regrettable thing is to see how much the quality has declined. Before, there was more choice, burgers crafted with original flavors. Today, we're far from that. Result: 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries, 1 brownie, and €43 for a frankly mediocre experience. Avoid, even for a quick order.

01/07/2025: I ordered via Uber Eats, having fond memories of Papy Joe's, they've obviously changed their menu and the quality as well. Burgers are much less tasty than before and the "cheddar fries" are soggy and without any cheddar in reality, they taste like a low-end cheddar sauce...
