03/03/2024: L’endroit est sympa, belle décoration. L’attente était un peu longue mais des crêpes autant entrée que plat très bonnes avec de bons produits et garnies !

01/04/2024: J'adore cette endroit , j'y vais depuis mon adolescence , maintenant j'y vais avec mon fils et mon mari .Les plats sont bon et pas cher, .Je n'ai jamais été décus ni par les plats ni par l'acceuil.

30/08/2024: L'accueil moyen. Le service correct. Pour les glaces on nous annonce : pas de chantilly. Tout à coup, il y en a. Nous commandons deux coupes mirabelle et deux boules de glace si possible avec un cornet. Le cornet est refusé pour l'image du salon de consommation. Les coupes de glace très bonnes, l'alcool ne se remarquait pas au goût. Dommage que dans l'ensemble cela ne nous laisse pas un souvenir agréable.

18/08/2024: Sehr charmantes kleines Mittelklasse-Restaurant am Fuß der Kathedrale – wir hatten ein rundum wundervolles Abendessen hier. Das Speisenangebot ist überschaubar, dafür ist die Qualität der Grundprodukte (vieles davon bio) und die Zubereitung hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die spannende Weinkarte, wie man sie auch in Frankreich in Restaurants dieser Preisklasse nur selten findet. Auch der Service durch die Inhaberin war sehr zuvorkommend und liebevoll. Man spürt, dass da jemand Gastronomie aus Leidenschaft betreibt. Vom kleinen Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Dessert war alles rundum erfreulich. Wir hatten einen exzellenten und relativ raren Champagner und als Vorspeise ein sehr aromatisches Oeuf parfait mit Kartoffel-Espuma und Pfifferlingen. Die Portion erschien uns zunächst etwas klein, in Verbindung mit dem üppig bemessenen Hauptgang erwies sich das aber als sehr sinnvoll. Das entbeinte Schweinskarree mit einer leichten, süffigen Paprika-Sauce war hervorragend auf den Punkt gegart, sehr saftig und zart. Das zeugt bei so einem von Natur aus eher mageren Stück Fleisch von echtem handwerklichen Können (und sehr guter Fleischqualität). Die grünen Bohnen und der Kartoffelstampf dazu waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Auch das Aprikosen-Dessert war ein großes Vergnügen. Besonders erfreulich fanden wir, dass uns zu den hochwertigen Weinen auch sehr viel feinere Gläser angeboten wurden, als die im Standard eingedeckten. Das ist auch in der hochpreisigen Spitzengastronomie leider längst nicht selbstverständlich. Essen und Weine sind dazu noch sehr fair kalkuliert. Mehr kann man sich als Gast kaum wünschen. Das war das kulinarische Highlight unserer Tage in Metz und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier einkehren, wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

27/05/2024: Communication très mauvaise Réservation pour 5 3 appels téléphoniques dont 1 de leur part Précision faite que nous voulions manger à la catre Réponse affirmative de leur part pour que sur place on nous impose le menu !!!! Pour qu'on ne retrouve pas trace des entretiens téléphoniques 🙄🙄🙄 Insupportable de manipulation et de non loyauté Nous ne reviendrons jamais

05/08/2024: Si estás en Metz en un día caluroso y bullicioso este restaurante se siente como un pequeño oasis. Está limpio, con aire acondicionado, y las bebidas de café estaban preparadas adecuadamente. El interior es anticuado en partes (baños específicamente) y una capa fresca de pintura podría animar las cosas en uno de los pasillos. El personal era eficiente y educado.

06/07/2024: This is an odd review but their behaviour has to be called out. We were in France with our dog and the French love dogs and nost places welcome dogs. We were staying in Montigny les Metz. I googled dog friendly restuarants in the area and this place cane up. When we arrived we were pleased as there is a small outside eating area. My wife gestured thriugh the window pointing at our dog saying if it was ok, the guy gestured it was so we sat down and waited. The waiter came out with the menus. He heard us talk and became instantly hostile. He then said 'excuse me', ' dont like' and gestured for us to leave. I asked him if he did not like the English or our dog, he did not answer and wakked away. Now my dog is a retriever breed, he is no threat to anyone and is calm and well behaved. I dont think it has anything to do with my dog. My take on the situation is that the waiter for whatever reason does not like English people and he decided to be racist towards us. This is insane behaviour and is vey damaging to thr business. The French are very welcoming of visitors from other parts of the world and we had a great time in France only spoiled by this waiters racism.

18/08/2024: Hier handelt es sich derzeit wohl um das Restaurant mit den höchsten kulinarischen Ambitionen in Metz. Teilweise wird man diesem Anspruch auch durchaus gerecht, einzelne Details hinkten dem jedoch bei unserem Besuch noch etwas hinterher. Die Weinkarte ist hervorragend und bietet viele sehr interessante Positionen zu recht fairen Preisen. Beim Essen hätten wir uns an der einen oder anderen Stelle etwas mehr Finesse und Kreativität gewünscht. Zum Auftakt wurden uns zwei Amuse serviert, die wir geschmacklich nicht sehr eindrucksvoll, aber auch nicht schlecht fand. Darauf folgte die erste Vorspeise mit grünen Bohnen und Lardo – sehr schön abgeschmeckt, wenn auch nicht spektakulär. Der Taschenkrebs-Tartar im zweiten Gang hätte vielleicht von einer etwas mutigeren Würzung profitiert. Der Lachs zum Hauptgang war dann wieder sehr gut zubereitet und schmackhaft. Wirklich herausragend war aber das Kalbsbries wie auch die beiden Desserts. Gleiches gilt übrigens auch für das Brot! Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und flott, wirkte aber bisweilen auch etwas gestresst. Aber so etwas kann natürlich auch einfach mal an der Tagesform liegen. Insgesamt hatten wir – trotz der kleineren Schwächen – noch immer einen sehr erfreulichen Abend, der jeden Cent wert war. Insgesamt also eher 4,5 als 4 Sterne. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder.

26/07/2024: Je ne m'attendais pas à être aussi agréablement surpris en rentrant dans ce restaurant. Les tables sont suffisamment écartées pour préserver l'intimité et le service est très professionnel. Côté boisson la carte est assez riche et propose quelques vins au rapport qualité prix très intéressant. Côté carte, nous avons pris le grand menu, et même si les suppléments ont tendance à alourdir la note, le bilan est très positif. Une note toute particulière pour le homard servi de façon originale et pour les ris de veau dont la cuisson était absolument parfaite : je n'avais jusqu'à présent trouvé cette excellence que dans un restaurant triplement étoilé ! Un excellent repas au final. J'y retournerai !
