21/01/2025: A good, average, clean tourist hotel/business hotel in the north of Nevers. The room was big enough for two people, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. Breakfast is not cheap, but for the price (€13/person) you get a very large and good choice. Free parking spaces available approximately 150 meters away. Friendly and attentive staff. In my opinion, the prices are average for this category and offer good value for money. The city center of Nevers is about 15 minutes away on foot.
16/01/2025: Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Although a block away, the parking is very secure (behind a closed gate at night) and put my mind at ease.
Once we checked in, we found the room to be comfortable and the hotel staff gracious. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

04/04/2026: We were looking for a nice place for lunch and this was an excellent choice. The people were very warm and welcoming and the food was excellent.

We order takeaway pizzas from PP very often and have always been satisfied.
24/10/2025: Young people just starting out. Very friendly.
Big appetites will be satisfied.
Don't hesitate to increase the quality of your products, I'm thinking in particular of cooked ham.

01/04/2026: They absolutely do not close at 2 AM. It's 11 PM and it's impossible to order except through the drive-thru. Please specify this!
31/03/2026: Very disappointed. I placed an order with Uber Eats for over €80.
I only received 1/3 of the order (it was delivered to my workplace). On the phone, the manager hung up on me several times... I then spoke to the Assistant Manager (who was in training), and the manager was supposed to get back to me... I never heard from him.
Not very professional. We will not be ordering from your establishment again. We'll try Burger King or KFC instead...

What do you call a bakery without bread?
3 times in less than a week there is no more country bread at 10 a.m.!!!!
It is specific to this business because at the Marie Blachere bakery on the banks of the Loire there is always what you need. But here there is always something missing.

26/06/2024: Je m'attendais à crêperie normale mais là c'est autre chose. Une galette "goemon " sublime et une très bonne "Valentine ". Des ingrédients de qualité et un personnel très agréable, c'est un endroit où je reviendrai.

Café Vélo Nevers

02/07/2024: As two cycling couples we stayed for five nights in the rooms above Café Velo. Our beds were super comfy and made up with sheets and a throw (instead of a duvet) just as requested. Both rooms were clean, spacious and well-equipped (with the added advantage of a shared kitchen). The bathrooms also worked well – great shower, and all the sockets and hooks in the right places!
We ate in the café on our first evening – lovely simple small plates with glasses of fabulous wine. We also had delicious breakfasts sitting outside overlooking the river. Truly wonderful banana loaf!
The locking garage was a real bonus for our bikes.
Anna and Charles couldn’t have been more welcoming – and we look forward to a return visit!
10/06/2024: Stopped for a late lunch and a drink. Service and food was very good. Location facing the river and bridge made the cafe very accessible. Staff spoke good English.
