20/05/2026: Noise in the corridors and rooms until half past midnight, people were talking as if it were broad daylight, and because of the short night we had, we were woken up in the morning by the sounds of drilling (workmen probably doing some work in the hotel), understandable but not in this particular case...we have experienced better during a stay at your hotel during the Christmas holidays.

22/05/2026: If only there were more shops like this, with so much choice, quality, and above all, such friendly staff.
Many young people go to fast food restaurants when there's something like this just a stone's throw from the city center. Finally, a delicious dish of the day with a variety of meats at a great price! Everything was reheated and served with kindness. Thank you! We're from Italy and were lucky enough to find you, so we didn't have to eat the same old restaurant fare. Good luck!

16/06/2026: A very bad experience on a Sunday evening: a meager appetizer platter with industrial salami, escalopes with no garnish whatsoever – the same industrial sauce for two different dishes, tasteless… Foot TV forced on the terrace even though no customer requested it…

We order takeaway pizzas from PP very often and have always been satisfied.
24/10/2025: Young people just starting out. Very friendly.
Big appetites will be satisfied.
Don't hesitate to increase the quality of your products, I'm thinking in particular of cooked ham.

I give zero stars to the downtown McDonald's. It's a disaster.
We ordered through Uber Eats.
The first delivery driver canceled, which delayed the order. The second driver contacted us, saying he didn't have the order and that McDonald's had lost it. He told us we needed to request a refund on their website, which I tried to do, but to no avail. My husband had to go there and encountered a third driver who asked us to reorder, knowing my husband was there to pick it up. We told him the manager had made a mistake and deleted some orders from his till.
Once we got home, we were shocked to find they'd forgotten half of our order.
We even found a piece of plastic from the drink machine in my son's Coke—frankly, the hygiene is terrible...
I strongly advise against going to the downtown McDonald's; avoid it at all costs.
I want to clarify that despite the issue I had with Uber Eats, which was eventually resolved,
McDonald's, on the other hand, failed to do its job properly... Especially considering I paid €47.47 for such a terrible experience.
I kept the drink and plan to go back later to get a refund.
28/05/2026: Today at 10:30 PM I ordered delivery, it arrived at 11:15 PM. I ordered a beef mozzarella and instead received a CBO. Perhaps you should check the eyesight of your evening staff. Also, the small ranch wraps were not good at all; they were missing fried onions and the sauce was the CBO sauce. I know you hire disabled people and people who can't read, but I didn't know you hired blind people. This is a real low point for the McDonald's in Nevers; it's not great to begin with.

30/06/2026: It's barely 9:00 AM, and I've come to pick up three packs of pastries for €6 each. There's nothing left on the shelves... I'm asked to wait 14 minutes. I come back, and... no more bread... another 8-minute wait... unfriendly staff... I don't recommend this place... it's a shame! What time are we supposed to go?

26/06/2024: Je m'attendais à crêperie normale mais là c'est autre chose. Une galette "goemon " sublime et une très bonne "Valentine ". Des ingrédients de qualité et un personnel très agréable, c'est un endroit où je reviendrai.

09/06/2026: Room was prepaid, during check-in the clerk ask for payment of the stay. Sharing that room was prepaid clerk excused and shared that system was slow and now he see's it.
Room was really small and a bit run down.
Pizza dinner (frozen pizza is heated up in a microwave for a certain time) - Pizza was delivered still somewhat frozen in the center and had to be redone in the microwave.
Nice terrasse and location close to city center.

Café Vélo Nevers

02/07/2024: As two cycling couples we stayed for five nights in the rooms above Café Velo. Our beds were super comfy and made up with sheets and a throw (instead of a duvet) just as requested. Both rooms were clean, spacious and well-equipped (with the added advantage of a shared kitchen). The bathrooms also worked well – great shower, and all the sockets and hooks in the right places!
We ate in the café on our first evening – lovely simple small plates with glasses of fabulous wine. We also had delicious breakfasts sitting outside overlooking the river. Truly wonderful banana loaf!
The locking garage was a real bonus for our bikes.
Anna and Charles couldn’t have been more welcoming – and we look forward to a return visit!
10/06/2024: Stopped for a late lunch and a drink. Service and food was very good. Location facing the river and bridge made the cafe very accessible. Staff spoke good English.
