21/01/2025: A good, average, clean tourist hotel/business hotel in the north of Nevers. The room was big enough for two people, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. Breakfast is not cheap, but for the price (€13/person) you get a very large and good choice. Free parking spaces available approximately 150 meters away. Friendly and attentive staff. In my opinion, the prices are average for this category and offer good value for money. The city center of Nevers is about 15 minutes away on foot.
16/01/2025: Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Although a block away, the parking is very secure (behind a closed gate at night) and put my mind at ease.
Once we checked in, we found the room to be comfortable and the hotel staff gracious. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

06/11/2024: The gentleman who served me didn't even know how to type on his cash register the breakfast menu with pastries + orange juice... for around €5.5...
He wanted to make me the breakfast menu without the orange juice.....
he told me that the menu I was asking for did not exist with orange juice even though I told him that it was playing on the TV (behind him! And that it was also displayed on the door.....)
After 10 minutes.... he finally found it!!!!
Thank you in advance for having your cash register training done because.... we really wasted our time!!!!
The toilets are horribly dirty.....

04/12/2024: Very good place for a quick lunch at midday! Simple and effective as unfortunately we don't see much anymore... I recommend
27/08/2024: We were not able to eat on the terrace despite the beautiful sunshine, so in the dining room which resonates enormously.
As for the cuisine, a slightly fatty rillettes as a starter which doesn't have much taste, followed by an andouillette with blue cheese sauce which lacks a little sauce for my taste.

28/09/2024: Disappointed, bland pizza, very moist tomatoes and mushrooms not "drained" enough, no spices, not salty.
24/09/2024: Excellent pizzeria which has an incredible choice of pizzas.
The pizzas are well garnished for a fair price. They can be taken away but if the weather permits you can enjoy them on the banks of the Loire or in the nearby park. Parking is easy in the side lane for those who take them home.
If you want an excellent pizza to take away, go see the pizza maker at El Ponte pizza, it's a safe bet.

14/12/2024: A very good counter. The atmosphere is very warm and the staff are very helpful. The prices are absolutely correct. I recommend without hesitation!
10/12/2024: Good welcome. A slightly faster service would be appreciated.
Delicious dishes, Andouillette and especially the German Beef which I recommend.
Small downside for the desserts (crêpe and millefeuille) for me, with a lack of balance between the flavors and the proportions of the ingredients.

17/09/2024: A perfect location very close to the Loire as well as the city center, for this Mercure.
There is a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast... Excellent scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, good pastries and a large selection of Nespressos. The right recipe to start the day off right.
Spacious and very quiet rooms. We sleep well there.

10/08/2024: We came with friends to try the brunch, we had reservations for 12:30 p.m. and no problem. When we arrive at the restaurant we are told that the brunch will no longer be restocked from 1 p.m., a bit of a shame. There are sweet and savory options but we were expecting more choice all the same.
Unfortunately we found a hair in our muffin...
Apart from that, the waitress is smiling, it's a pleasure to see and the people are respectful, it's calm and family-friendly. Unfortunately I don't think we'll come back for brunch, maybe for the restaurant.

A whiskey tasting meal and dishes prepared extratemporaneously for around thirty guests.
Beyond the technical prowess, the dishes are fantastic with astonishing blends of flavors to provoke the astonishment associated with whiskey.
Well done ! A truly unique experience.
