26/08/2026: We've found our new go-to spot! 😊 It's been a long time since we've had such a great time. Being the foodies we are, we fell in love with this restaurant. We arrived, were greeted with a smile, and at our table, the young waiter knew his menu inside and out. In the kitchen, the women were expertly cooking everything perfectly, with no unpleasant surprises. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Over at the wine cellar, the other guy in shorts was doing a fantastic job. With a touch of humor, he'll take you off the beaten path, and you'll leave feeling completely won over. The bar staff were all smiles too; everyone was cheerful, joking around, and we felt right at home, all within a tasteful decor. In short, it was flawless. We loved it, we loved it, and we'll love it again. 😉 Thank you all for this wonderful evening. P.S. 02/09/2026: We used Ô Puits for our wedding, which took place on August 22nd, and we can say that the entire team was dynamic and friendly, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. I didn't take any photos of the appetizers and main courses, but everything was perfect, and everyone enjoyed the menu. Thank you for your professionalism. We look forward to tasting your cuisine again, but this time at the restaurant.

10/09/2026: Wow, wow, wow. I was traveling alone through France and was looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a glass of wine. Pierre gave me a super friendly welcome, helped me fantastically with my choice, gave a very interesting explanation, and we had a super pleasant conversation. The wine and snacks were also top-notch. My visit to Une Note de Vin was definitely the highlight of my visit to Nevers.

24/08/2026: Everything was perfect: the advice on choosing delicious wines that paired wonderfully with the tasty, homemade dishes to share. The manager was truly lovely and knowledgeable. A fantastic time, thank you for everything!

27/08/2026: The waitress was very good. Period. The food needs improvement; I ordered my meat rare, but it arrived overcooked. It's not Limousin beef, after all. Touristy restaurant.

19/08/2026: A very nice place, they make a delicious latte macchiato. A very warm welcome in a magnificent setting on Place Carnot with incredible monuments.

23/08/2026: Unprofessional service. This restaurant offers excellent cuisine, probably the best in Nevers. However, we were particularly surprised and disappointed by the behavior of the service staff. We arrived at 7:30 pm for dinner with friends. The waiter initially rushed us to choose our dishes quickly. Despite this somewhat unsettling atmosphere, we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Late in the evening, around 11:20 pm, the owner decided to encourage us to get up from the table by clattering dishes in the next room and, more importantly, by switching the lights on and off repeatedly, rather than simply saying a few words to us, which we would have perfectly understood. This is the first time we have witnessed such rude and inappropriate behavior in a restaurant of this caliber. In just a few minutes, this attitude clearly ruined our evening. We all agreed not to return to this establishment and not to recommend it to our friends in Nevers.

09/07/2026: A very warm welcome. We spent one night at the Gîte de la Table d'Elo, with room service for dinner and breakfast also provided. The room was very spacious. The meal and breakfast were both very good. I highly recommend it.

The meal was simply divine. All our guests were captivated, and we received nothing but positive feedback. Everything was flawless, perfectly executed. Elodie guides you through your choices with professionalism and genuine care. She offers dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious: each dish is as beautiful as it is tasty. We highly recommend her without hesitation. You can trust her completely. Go for it!

16/09/2026: So disappointing. Came here from England as a recommendation while visiting. Was served raw chicken which had to be cooked again and not even an apology. Then found hair in another meal. 2 staff members where lovely but when trying to ask for the chicken to be cooked properly one of the waitresses shook her head and went to serve 2 other tables and never checked on us again. Would not recommend

12/09/2026: Despite impeccable and pleasant service (thank you, Jordan), we waited far too long for our food (45 minutes). We had to send back two out of our four dishes because the meat was completely undercooked. The head waiter reprimanded us for our expectations regarding the cooking. Following this, we were sent back portions that were more than meager (the duck breast was only half a fillet), cold, and with the added insult of, "If it's cold, we won't reheat it." In short, we won't be back. We'll also do without the "homemade" label for frozen side dishes and tasteless desserts.

02/09/2026: A friendly restaurant on the banks of the Loire. Pleasant welcome and service. Dogs are welcome. Simple but delicious cuisine. We enjoyed the mussels with Roquefort cheese and the Loire River fried fish. Don't hesitate to go for a relaxing meal.

09/08/2026: Everything was perfect! From the setting to the food, we had a delightful dinner. We were warmly welcomed by Océane and attentively served by the charming Tiphaine. Not forgetting the staff we didn't see (the chefs) who worked with beautiful local ingredients to the fullest. From the beef carpaccio to the roasted St. Marcellin cheese, our taste buds were in heaven. Thank you to the hosts, Fabien and Valentin, for making this such a wonderful experience 😋.
