22/05/2026: We hadn't made a reservation, didn't know it was necessary, and walked in at 7:00 PM. It was completely full, but the very friendly owner went to see if he could still arrange something. And luckily, he still had a high table with bar stools at the back of the restaurant. We had an incredibly delicious meal; the nems (spring rolls); I have never had them this good! The steak tartar and the beef stew; our main courses were delicious, and the tiramisu too! We really had a great meal for a low price; super! Afterwards, we spoke briefly with the owner, who started this restaurant 15 years ago at the age of 22. It is simply always full, and I understand why. We said goodbye with a handshake and kisses for my wife! Service a 10, atmosphere a 10, and truly, the food a solid 10! 21-5-2026: back at the Mec in shorts! We sat outside nicely; the street was closed to traffic, and a large terrace had been set up where you could sit comfortably. What lovely, hospitable service this restaurant has. You feel welcome and are served with great pleasure. I can be brief about the food there: amazing! Be sure to finish the meal with their baba because it is superb. We will definitely be back in October; I am already looking forward to it…

18/05/2026: We were a small group of Belgians who came to race at Magny-Cours without any particular expectations. We ended up here following a recommendation, and what a surprise! Thank you, Tonton, for your hospitality and the hard work of the whole team! See you next year at the latest!

The sea scallops and fish fillet we tried were so juicy and tender, really highlighting how fresh the ingredients were. Our server’s dessert suggestion was just amazing. We had a wonderful dining experience.

06/05/2026: A very nice brasserie on Place Carnot in Nevers, a very warm welcome, perfect cuisine with very well-prepared brasserie dishes and impeccable service with the waiter's great sense of humor, it's perfect.

25/05/2026: Superb place. The welcome and service are warm and professional. The hospitality is truly exceptional...you feel right at home! We chose the €43 menu. Divine...the experience will stay with us for a long time. And compared to some so-called restaurants, it's still excellent value for money considering the quality. Malaurie and Patrick

18/05/2026: I had an exceptional birthday celebration at this place, invited by my son, where everything is perfect. The setting is splendid, the food sublime, the wines sensational, and the staff incredibly attentive. In short, an experience to be repeated, even though it wasn't my first time; it's always a delight. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Couron for creating such wonderful moments for us.

19/05/2026: A nice little brasserie. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) is under €20 and features fresh, homemade ingredients. The food is flavorful, and the service is quick and friendly. We'll be back!

29/04/2026: Excellent wine bar for sharing a moment with friends or family over quality platters. Everything was perfect, including the croque monsieur and hot club sandwich. We had a wonderful evening. The desserts are also of high quality, well done! The welcome is warm and attentive. I will definitely return!

04/01/2026: Okay, sorry, but I'm going to give it two stars. The first star because you can't start from scratch, and the second, which is the only good point, is that they at least said hello. After that notable event, it was like stepping into another dimension. The atmosphere was quite austere, a bit "uncomfortable" in this bar/restaurant. We were there, but we didn't exist! We waited patiently standing to order, but no one bothered to acknowledge us or even glance at us, for what seemed like an eternity. So we turned around and left. Perhaps our faces didn't deserve to boost their profits. We resigned ourselves to it, feeling ignored. Well, I don't blame them, it's just a shame to be in business when you clearly don't understand the basics. And maybe they simply don't need customers; besides, it didn't look like there was a rush of people coming in for a Saturday night. So we went to Lord's, and it was honestly great. I'd give them a solid 5/5 for their hospitality and service; they clearly know how to treat their customers. You should take note.

The meal was simply divine. All our guests were captivated, and we received nothing but positive feedback. Everything was flawless, perfectly executed. Elodie guides you through your choices with professionalism and genuine care. She offers dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious: each dish is as beautiful as it is tasty. We highly recommend her without hesitation. You can trust her completely. Go for it!

24/05/2026: The loyalty card system is very surprising and questionable… We had one card fully completed with all 15 stamps (and another half-completed) which we presented last year at Brasserie de Loire. The restaurant owner's response: the card was not accepted. We presented it last week at Bistro de l’Olivier. The restaurant owner's response: the card was no longer valid and had been replaced by a new card valid for both L’Olivier and Brasserie de Loire. The result: we were unable to benefit from the €15 discount. Where is the logic in that?
