26/01/2026: First time trying this chip shop tonight, and it was a great find. The manager is welcoming and friendly, the portions are generous, and the fries are perfectly crispy. It's just a shame that the chip shop isn't more prominently displayed from the outside (but that doesn't change anything I said before). We'll definitely be back!

03/03/2026: I went to the Subway in Armentières this afternoon and honestly… what a pleasant surprise! I've been to quite a few Subways and the service often leaves something to be desired. But this was completely different. We were served by a tall, curvy cashier who was incredibly friendly and always smiling. Even though it was busy and she was working alone, she took the time to explain the recipes, give us helpful tips, and even tell us about the daily specials. We were served quickly, even though they also had online orders to handle. Seriously, impressive. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwiches were delicious. It's so nice to encounter someone so professional and friendly. PS: We asked for her name to leave a review, but she told us to just write "The Subway Team." So, kudos to the team! 👏 Thanks for the recommendation, you can go there without hesitation! 👌

28/03/2026: Hello, So why 5 stars? I'm from Normandy, and when I come to the Lille area, this is exactly the kind of brasserie where I like to relax! You can tell that things are done right here; you'll find the traditions of good living: a warm "Bonjour" full of smiles, you'll feel the pleasure of being welcomed. The same goes for the food; the steak tartare, the same one I used to eat at my aunt's butcher shop in Wattignies, is delicious. So, I highly recommend it. And a big BRAVO and THANK YOU for contributing to the success of our stay in Lille.
